Remarks

It will be not wrong to say that this is the best MBA college that I have come across in Chennai city because of the wide range of placement opportunities for the students. The lectures are based on case studies which make the whole experience of MBA course more enjoyable. The school faculty makes us aware of the corporate culture. We have cafeteria option and also modern library conferencing room, air conditioner classroom, Wi-Fi facility and very beautiful location of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of MBA in our college is upgraded regularly and also new specialisations are introduced every year through the faculty of the college to the students. The course curriculum is highly focused every year to meet the industrial requirements of the business firms. At present the business schools offers 9 specialisation in the two years course of MBA.

Placement Experience

Internship programs are also provided at our college. All the students get to do almost seven months of internship. First they do a General management internship with a certain company. Later they are provided with a specialised internship depending upon their specialisation. The companies which provide internship to the students are Yamaha Motors, Canara Bank, Big Bazaar, Wildcraft, shiksha.com, Pepsi company, Omega Healthcare, ICICI, etc. Placement opportunities are also provided to the students. Some of the placement companies that have recruited our students are DLF, HP, Bank of America, ICICI Bank etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year MBA fee was of 1.4 lakh which is paid as soon as your admission is confirmed. The second year fee for the MBA courses around 1.2 lakh which makes the total of the MBA program of around 2.6 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship options are also provided for the students who are distinction holders. Special scholarships are provided to the students who belong to economically weaker section so that they can carry on their education without any worry of their fees.

Campus Life

The overall environment at the college is very positive because of the various facilities which are provided at the college. The students are taught to develop positive attitude. Extra curricular activities are provided so that the students can cope up with the pressure of the real world. The students also acquire ability in logical reasoning and rational decision making. The students are made familiar with the corporate culture by providing industrial tours and visit.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostels are provided for both boys and girls students in the college. The hostel is provided at a very accessible location so that student can easily travel to the college without any problem. The infrastructure of the college and hostel building is very comfortable for all of the students.

Admission

To get admission in the MBA program of this business school, we have to go through the entrance exam which is set up by the versatile Business School itself. The entrance exam is known as VBSET so I first went through the entrance exam. Question paper of the entrance exam include questions on general English, general awareness, data interpretation and analytical and logical reasoning. Finally, I went through the interview after cracking up the entrance exam and the group discussion round. After passing both of the round, I was selected by the faculty.

Faculty

Every teacher at our business school provide regular lectures to the students of the class. The attitude of the teachers towards the students is very friendly. Each of the teacher is highly interested in providing good advices to the students so that they can become successful in the future.

the college provides placement opportunities for mba stidents and placement preparation helps improve communication aptitude and intherviews skills students generally become eligible for campus requirements. the companies visiting number of offers and salary packages may vary each year. my expected annual package is aroung 5 lpa. the average and highest packages and the percentage of students placed depend on the placement records of each batch. more company visit and internship opportunities would improve placements further after completing my mba i plan to start my carrer in a management related role gain industry experience and develop my professional skills for future growth.

Placements at GSBM are decent ,with student generally becoming eligible from the last semesters . Companies from sales ,marketing, finance ,HR and business devolpment sectors visit the campus .Placement opportunity and packages vary by company and student performance ,with average packages being reasonable for MBA freshers .A good percentage of students recevie placements opportunity, while stuends can also explore of -campus options .After completing my MBA ,plan to start my career in a management_related role and build my proffessional experience.

The placement opportunities for MBA students at my college are reasonably good. students generally become eligible for campus placement from the 3rd ssemestse3r, after completing most of their core subjects. the placement cell starts preparing studnets through aptitude tests, resume building sessions, group discussions mock interviews and pre placement training.

The placement opportunities for my program are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester preparation and internship opportunities started yearly. The placemet cell various activity such as apptitude test, resume building session, group discussion, mock interview, prepare placemnt training to help students prepare for the requriements. The placement cell offers reasonable support throughout recruitment process.
