  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

Just the 12th marks I scored 93%.It is the second best college for sciences in the country at that time.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

The fees was very nominal being a christian missionary college .The tuition fees was about 5000 to 7000 rupees. And some other nominal charges for stationary and lab equipment.

    PLACEMENT WING

Placements were good for the arts people hence i would not comment on it. I am from sciences. Though there are no good jobs for sciences.

  • 9/10Ratings

    HOSTEL FACILITIES

The college hostel is an excellent place. It charged me about 25000 rupees per semester which is quite decent compared with the PG's. The mess bill was paid individually based on what and how much you ate. My bill came upto about 4000 to 5000 per month.

  • 9 /10Ratings

    FACULTY

The faculty were very student friendly and excellent teachers. They help you academically and personally. They help you in everything they can. They would explain any number of times if the concept was not understood.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

The exams were hectic, exams being held for every 20 days and the practicals extra .The labs were very frequent on daily basis and we enjoyed them.

  • 10 /10Ratings

    COLLEGE EVENTS

We have one of the biggest annual festivals in the country''malhar'', and also the janfest, a prominant classical music festival. We also have small festivals like literary fetivals for different languages like hindi, english, marathi etc.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

No I did not avail any scholarship. But there are certainly a few scholarships provided to the toppers and the economically backward students.

BA psychology

Placement -

As I was a student of psychology I did not get any placements. I tried getting an internship for children school of autism but I did not get approval from college administrators. But maybe if you are persistent you might crack your way with staff.

SIES college review by Kamli

Remarks -

My college is mostly positive because of the students enthusiasm. Teachers are also supportive only when we obey them. But incase if we need to clear our doubts before examination, teachers are always there for us. Library is the best part of my college, atleast for me. Students can issue and read a book free of cost with a library card. Canteen food can be improved, because the price we pay and the quality they provide doesn't match. Lectures are beneficial as well.

Not nearly enough

Remarks -

Higher Management needs to step up in terms of how they Handle things like equipment and facilities. We were told that the college has world class facilities though we see none of that. Equipment shortage, timetable issues, ridiculous and offensive statements by dean. For almost the entirety of their first year, the ongoing FYBPA students have faced a severe lack of equipment that is not being fixed by management. They keep pushing the date and postponing. Very unprofessional and nightly unexpected from NMIMS brand.
