Course Curriculum Overview

BE mechanical engineering is the course which has the duration of 4 years and good course structure and focuses a lot on research work. The course follows the duration of 4 years. The syllabus is updated as per the changes made and the evolution in technology. The days at the institution is generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

The college has a Placement Cell and provides with a great opportunities to its students. Students encouraged to participate in technical symposiums, conferences and workshops as well as to present their papers at other colleges. Guest lectures also arranged especially on the more challenging subjects.they have internships and many companies come and recruit the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of GSIT for mechanical engineering is around 2 lakh 80 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution..

Campus Life

The college is very good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

Thirumalai Engineering College is an engineering college located in Kilambi, kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India. The college is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Candidates seeking an admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have passed senior secondary school with atleast 50% marks and should also have qualified the entrance exam TNPCEE/CET. Based on the same, they will be called for the admission.

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
