Remarks

My college is the best college because if you get admission in this college you will develop many of the social skills also apart from the academic skills you will be able to gain communication skills and you will be able to develop a strong character.

Course Curriculum Overview

I really like the course curriculum of the college because my college is definitely the best in organizing the examination pattern. The examination pattern are researched by the college faculty. I do not have any problem in my examination because the course curriculum is divided in such a way that it is very easy to learn.

Placement Experience

There are good placements opportunities in our college because there is a separate placement cell that undertakes the activities related to on-campus interviews. The students are trained to give the on-campus interviews in such a way that they get 100% selected in the jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college is also designed in a way that all of the students can submit the fees without any financial burden on their families. The fee structure is really very good and I am always able to submit my fees on time because the fees is not very high.

Campus Life

Another really important feature of the college is the availability of good sports activities in the college. Many times it happens that the students are only interested in studying and this makes them very dull and lazy. The sports activities which are present at our college provide us with good leadership skills and physical activities.

Admission

There are many of entrance exams that the students can undertake to be selected in the under graduation program of this college. Also, the candidate must have passed class 12th examination with the subjects of physics, mathematics and chemistry. You can also have biology, electronics and computer science as an optional subjects. English must be the main subject with a minimum of 45% of marks. There is a relaxation in the marks eligibility criteria for the students belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and another backward caste. These students can get admission on even 40% of marks

Faculty

All of the management facilities are provided by our faculty members in our college. The faculty members of the college manage the exams in such a way that all of the students get good academic results. The teaching styles of all of the teaching faculty is very good, they all hold good experience.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
