Remarks
Overall quality is good. Infrastructure is decent, academics is good and placements are excellent. Most of the activities are student driven which gives students diverse set of opportunities to develop their business acumen.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum covers everything, all the basics of finance, hr, marketing and operations. The course has a lot of rigour and has a scientific approach to learning. A lot of case studies are given and the majority of learnings revolve around case studies only.
Placement Experience
Placements opportunities are good with a lot of companies from different domains coming with a good stipend. Companies of likes of HUL, Colgate Palmolive, Nivea, Optum, Whirlpool come and grace the placement week.
College Events
An annual cultural featival-Neev happens every year. This festival includes a lot of case study competitions belonging to different domains(marketing, hr, finance and operations). Then there are cultural events such as fashion show, DJ night and celebrity concerts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is at par with other reputed B Schools of the country. A certain portion of the fee comes back to students in the form additional facilities that the college offer to them. All in all it is a justified sum being asked from students to study in a reputed college of likes of SCMHRD.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loans are not given by the college but it gives different types of scholarships to the students. Topper of the batch gets certain portion of the fee waived off. Students with weak finance background are also given monetary help to back their studies.
Campus Life
SCMHRD has a lot of clubs and committees that involve students in extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural, management, social work etc. A lot of regional cultural committees are also present that celebrate festivals round the year. Male : Female - 5:3.
Hostel Facilities
I have the hostel facilities. Hostels rooms are alloted on first come first serve basis. Generally rooms are 3 sharing in nature. Facilities provided are attached washroom with geyser, a bed, a table and an almirah.
Alumni/Alumna
SCMHRD has a huge almuni base. SCMHRD puts a lot of effort in embracing the alumni base with city meets and home coming events. Alumni too helps in getting their companies on the campus and give industry exposure through guest lectures.
Admission
Gave aptitude test SNAP. This was followed by GD and PI. I did not appear for any other entrance test.
Faculty
In house faculty is good with a lot of adjunct faculty from industry coming in frequently to add industry exposure in the learning. Students are happy with the quality of faculty provided to them.
