Remarks

Well connected with Chennai city. Teachers are good knowledge. Placement is good, this college accredited with NACC, NBA, ISO etc and this college is attached with much proportional body like ISTE, IET, CSI etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well experienced and qualified staff, they follow AICTE norm for staff-student ratio. Well, department library feasibility, lab are good they are using licensed software.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Placement Experience

Good campus placement, placement taring cell is giving good training, visited TCS, WIPRO, L&T, etc most of the MNC are coming and get good placement.

Every year they conducted annual fests like symposium TARA, annual day, Parevander Tamil computation, food fests, like so many for both boys and girls.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage. I got into Panimalar Engineering College via Counselling process, but decided not to go as the college was very strict and Underexposed.
