Remarks

Management is supportive but lack in knowledge of selecting teachers and money minded people

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Yeah industrial visit to ONGC was arranged. Exam is fair. Out of 10 around 7 can clear papers. Curriculum does not groom to industry specific knowledge. Library does not have books regarding petroleum department. The college is under anna university chennai

Placement Experience

1.5

A different placement cell is established in the college for placement & job opportunities. Every year various companies visits our college for placement purposes. On the other hand various messages through different social media are circulated by students for internships.

College Events

1

Every year session starts with welcoming of freshers through freshers party. Later on there are lot of cultural and management festivals takes place in college. Almost each department have their annual fest that goes on 2-3 days. After all these departmental fests a cultural fest of whole college is organised by the students’ union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah there is transparency.it is feasible for one year fee is 1,10,000 for petroleum and they accept payments in debit card and neft and any other mode of payments. Donations are taken from students if they require admissions in rare courses in the college

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not offer scholarships. I have taken up an education loan of 4 lakh with an interest of 13% which is high but needed. Eligibiliy is by firstly need to get bonafide from college and necessary admission documents and apply the respective bank in your locality The manager will review and provide you with loan

Campus Life

1.5

Ratio is at 10:2 male: female College does not have dorm parties There is not discrimination based on colour gender politics economics based. There is good anti ragging cells within the college which take quick action against those who create problems

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel rooms are not clean Food is very bad The outside stay such as pg hostel are very affordable and food is better. Insects may be found in food After each year the hostel fee gets spiked by a bit. The security for hostellers is very poor

Alumni/Alumna

The relationship between alumni and senior students is not good. As alumni networking is not up to the task and the communications between students is very poor

Admission

Always was fond of the oil and gas industry. Admissions are in 2 category by management and tamil nadu merit list. Rare courses in JCT require a bulk donation Teaching staff is not up to the mark. No placements for rare courses such as petrochemical, petroleum and food technology. Overall college is below average

Faculty

1.5

4 lectures and are at the average age of 35 They lack subject knowledge and industry knowledge. The college lacks in machinary and lab equipment. The staff are friendly and helpfull. The college is not willing to employ staff. Teaching staff can do lot more better if they had industrial experiance

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
