Course Curriculum Overview
The course pattern was very helpful. They provided you books through mail services and gave you assignments to complete, which gave me practical knowledge as well. The exam was conducted in three ways, first the online exam, then submission of assignment on the SCHC website and third when you visit the campus, you have a written exam.
Placement Experience
No, there are no placement & job opportunities provided by the college. But some time tcs, Infosys come college campus and provide job for students. And other than there are some placements give through some company.
College Events
My College celebrated the events such as human sporting event, Social Awareness programmes, Charity Functions and so many and so far cultural programmes have been conducted in the great DAV College. Festive programmes are also celebrated like diwali celebration etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is not too much high in my college the Fee criteria in graduation course is almost Rs.5,000 in all the years of bachelor of commerce course.The fee structure i Master of commerce course in 6000 in first year of Course but it rises to 6,500 from 2nd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had opted for the scholarship in the second year of bachelor of commerce course and i got the scholarship after a year.
Campus Life
Campus life is too great in this college.Students and faculties are too cooperative and friendly in behaviour.Athee is not any kind of gender or cultural racism in the campus.All the students are properly from a great economic status. There is not any kind of politics
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was very good. Very clean campus with all amenities. Bus facilities were very helpful for all of us. I had to share my room with three, which was fine as the room size was quite big. And they did not charge much for it.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are also very cooperative and great in behaviour they have good ethics and came from a great families
Admission
I got admitted in kalna College Through merit list. Its a good process. In online portal students submit their application to the college administration and they review the application. After that they published the merit list.
Faculty
There are 7 Lecturesrs assiciated with my course in my college.They all teaches different subjects and they are very tentative towards their subjects.They all are really qualified.Atleast each and every teacher have a degree of Ph.d and Mastrs of Commerce degree.
