Yes it is situated near dal lake.campus is beautiful.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's really good.teacher are well trained and educated.good facilities of laboratory,games,club, infrastructure and many more.it organises tech fest.which encourage student towards technolgy, innovative idea. Students has preferable interest in games mainly basketball cricket athletics.student take part in various club like coding club robotics and more

Companies that visit our college are 1.l&t 2.vedanta 3.resonance 4.bpl 5.hpcland many more Frankly speaking I have little knowledge about it. Yes there are placement cell in institue who try very hard to bring companies. As per official record they say 100 percent placement but I consider it around 70 percent

1.techfest annualy organised by college 2.inter nit tournament focus on sports activities 3.club participantion like robotics coding are well entertained among student 4.as it is biggest technical College in jammu and kashmir it invites all other interested college.

Sorry, I have not applied for any.system by default has facilities of deviding in income slot.parents having annual income less then 1 lakh rupees are charged no tution and accomodation fee

Yes,gender ratio is comparatively higher of boys compare to girls.workshop, robotics are well entertained club in college. Inter nit tournament keeps student busy in sports,innovative ideas.there are mingled ratio of religious people.I have never focused in it.it has secular environment overall

Yes, as college was opened in 1962,it has got a large alumani network.now because of social media and different social pages we can interact with them easily.we can clarify our doubt and seek help from them.and most of them are very cordial in nature.

Admission

I got admission through JEE mains exam conducted at my time by cbse. selection procedure is quiet simple.one has to give JEE mains entrance exam which at my time happens at a time.and now two times.after that a jossa counciling happens.in jossa counciling we give our choice and get our choice according to our JEE main rank.

Faculty

College facilities are well educated as all of them are PhD graduate from profound institute. Average age of teacher is around 40 to 50. There are branch wise teacher who are expert in their own field 1. Digital electronics 2. Analog electronics 3.communication So every part has an expert

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement .
