Marwadi University Rajkot, BE, Mechanical Engineering

Reviewed on May 31, 2020

Remarks

Everything is good but according to my Point of view, they are taking too much fees and also provide little placement for our future life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In mechanical field, our institute have various kind of machinery related to our subjects and also provide deep knowledge about different different practical things. Moreover, they have world best heat treatment mechanical lab in entire world. This things play vital role for our future and we are able to give questions answers of any problems and practical things

Placement Experience

2.5

They are giving very good placements to every students but for mechanical department they haven't too much company. In IT computer, they are giving list of companies like pink, just dial, Amazon, flipkart, and many local.

College Events

4.5

They are celebrating every event as well as festivals. For example, ganesh chaturthi, Navaratri, diwali, kite festival, gtu fest, mu fest and many more. Moreover, for seniors they are sometimes organized fairwell party and also for future students. Many technical events are also held in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

They are taking one semester fees for confirming your addmission. Then after they are taking every semester vise fee from students. Moreover, they are allowing RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, Paytm, GPay, check and many others. Yes they are provid us fee payment receipt to every student and also everyone have same fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I am not part of this type of students. And also i haven't knowledge about education loan. But if you are lower cast students so our institute provide you full refund against your paid fee

Campus Life

Gender ratio is dependent on course. For example, in mechanical field, boys are more as compared to girls and in computer science filed, girls are more as compared to boys. Our college is provided various kind of facilities to every students like excellent sports club, mechanical labs and many more. Every year lots of events are organised by our institute like MU fest, GTU fest many more.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and also they are provided huge support to everyone. Sometimes they run various campaign to provide real time information to new comers.

Admission

I completed my 12th exam after that I gave jee main exam and our gujarat acpc borad make merit list and also they combine both results (we don't have any idea about how they make merit list because this is secret of them). Next, i applied in Marwadi University for bachelor degree in mechanical. In first round i got admission and paid one semester fees and confirm my seat.

Faculty

4.5

They are allowing only those people who are completed they master degree in IIT, NIT, Nirma and many more. Otherwise if you haven't so they are not able to provide any kind of work in our institute. Right now, all the professor have deep knowledge about their perticular subjects and also they are doing Phr in various disciplines. So they have highly qualified professionals

Good Learning Experience with Scope for Improvement

Likes

Helpful teachers and a friendly campus environment.
Good classrooms and learning facilities.
Supportive faculty and a positive learning atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are moderate and depend on students' skills. More companies, internships, and career guidance would improve placements. After completing my course, I plan to seek a good job and develop my professional skills.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
