ABOUT MY COLLEGE
REMARKS
Every one have their good and bad but on my opinion my college has done many good things only so their is no remark for my college. The best thing of my college is even the students are lazy the facultys are searching to makes our student unique.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
As I entered my college through counseling so my fees is feasible. But this is also a huge amount for my family to pay. The mode of payment ia through DD which is got from the bank. In the fees structure they add facility fees, bus fees, canteen fees, tuition fees. For the admission of student through management they should pay admission fees amount
PLACEMENT WING
Placement is good enough when comparing with other colleges around us. Mostly IT companies plays a major role in placement they takes a bulk of peoples to their company. As I'm mechanical student my core industry's are very rare to visit our college because of this we the mechanical engineering are now learning the coding languages to get place in IT companies.
ADMISSION
I got admission through counseling. I took tjis course on my own interest. The procedure for admission is many number of engineering colleges in tamilnadu comes under anna university based on our 12th marks they call for counseling and we can pick what college we want.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
No, I'm a day scholar. My few friends are in the hostel they said that the food and rooms are good the fees for staying in hostel is higher than a day scholar fees. The faculty is always available for them to clear their doubt's.
ALUMNI
I use to ask many ideas regarding my subject and what are additional things to learn to my seniors to get more knowledge about the subject. They gave a good and clear ideas to survive this competitive world
FACULTY
In our college faculty are always ready to clear any doubt's regarding the subject and they are more friendly. Each faculty in our college had completed there M.E degree or PhD. and they have industrial experience also. The average lecture time for a period is 50 min. There are totally 7 periods in a day so the faculty have enough time to interact with us to complete the syllabus.
CAMPUS LIFE
The campus of our college is a good environment with a natural view. Their is a rules in our college that bo boys are not allowed to talk to girls if they are not obeying this they will get punished. The ratio of boys is greater than girls 3:1. Many labs are their which comes under curriculum syllabus. For sports they haven't showed a lot involvement.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The current curriculum is little older syllabus they are making to add few new things to that syllabus. The labs are connected to making oru practical knowledge more creative. Exams are conducted after the completion of one unit a cycle test and after completion of 2 units internal 1 there are totally 5 units in a sub after completion of the next 2 unit again a internal 2 after completion of 5 unit a model test before the university exam and practicals then the university exam.
COLLEGE EVENTS
We celebrate national science day. We conduct a college culturals which is more enjoyable one. During cultural they conduct many competitions to explore our ideas paper presentation, games, ect. They conduct many guest lecture classes. Many programs regarding our current job market.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Yes, due to my family situation I applied education loan for my studies. My fees is 50000 the bank can provide only 30000 the remaining 20000 I have to pay. The government provides a little scholarships for first graduate who comes under counseling based on their caste the scholarship is provided yearly. The scholarship amount will be 5000-6000 per annum.
