Remarks

Management is very cooperative and helpful with students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is based on Calcutta University syllabus which is very simplified and explained with proper examples by the faculties.Regular examinations are held in the college campus to improve the knowledge of person and enhance their capabilities.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is one of the best in whole Calcutta university. I am placed in Amazon currently after i completed my graduation. Multiple companies reach to campus for selection. Few of them are Indigo Concentrix TCS and so on.

College Events

The best part of the college is the events that are celebrated every year by the seniors for the juniors in the college. Every year fresher party is done and a fest is organised by the union members. Along with this there is holi celebration saraswati puja celebration teachers day and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a government based college and the fee structure is very acceptable and less in comparison to any other colleges. No extra charges were charged by the college and also the fee breakdown was well maintaimed and provided by the college in the fee payment receipt.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship or loans as the fees is very affordable. Though college offers scholarships and quotas such as sports quota for people playing on behalf of the college.

Campus Life

3.5

There is no gender discrimination and almost equal number of girls and boys are present in campus. Computer labs are available for computer practices and chemistry lab for experiments along with physics lab and a gym in the campus is present. College does not encourage any gender or religion discrimination.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel facilities are provided by the college. If Living in PG then it costs 6000 per month rent with food and services and extra money for your daily expenses are needed in addition with 6000 rupees

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very supportive and encouraging and respects the juniors a lot and helps with the curriculum also

Admission

I am a commerce student so opted for B.com honors as it was the best stream available for me and was selected based on my 12th marks.Admission process was very easy as we were called on a particular date and all the process was done on the same day itself.

Faculty

4.5

The college runs for 5 days in a week for 5 hours daily with half an hour break. Faculties are very active and falls betwwen the age group of 30-50 year. Their are male as well as female faculties and provide lectures to improve the knowledge. Not any specific certifications are provided though.

Likes

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

College of this generation

Remarks:

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. In the coming years I hope the College will be able to keep up its expectation. “Knowledge is power, knowledge is strength

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

I applied to a total of five colleges out of which I selected four, except for Scottish Church College. I rejected Bijoy Krishna Girls' College because it is a girls' college, and Shree Agrasian College because I was getting History Honours there, and I wanted to pursue Political Science Honours. Lastly, I chose Seth Anandram Jaipuria College due to its good ranking. The admission process at first starts with applying and giving your list of preferred colleges on the website, and finally, Class-12 percentage acts as a catalyst in formulating the cutoff list....Read More

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. I could go on and explain how I got admission, but the admission process has changed and I don't know it very thoroughly....Read More
