Remarks

It is a good initiative to provide a basic degree to those who are trying to take a degree along with their work. It is thus a good way to bring up the literacy rate of the country. The fees is also modest.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is fairly simple and is intended for those who are trying to get a degree while working. The exam follows a simple structure, answer 5 questions out of 8 questions which carry 20 marks each.

Placement Experience

No, there is no placement facility available. Internship is also not provided by the university. The university is only a part until the completion of the degree program. However one can also apply for higher studies.

College Events

Local festivals like onam and vishu. Christmas being an universal festival it is also celebrates in a grand manner. There used to be a cake distribution during Christmas and also a variety of programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. The fee structure is fair and does not mess with ones budgets. Only a reasonable amount is collected from the students for their services by the university. The fee is paid via a DD and it also includes the price of materials

I don't know of any scholarship programs that are being offered. I cannot comment on something that I don't know so please excuse me on this as i can provide little information regarding the matter.

Campus Life

There is a sports meet which takes place in some time of the year. There is also a lab facility available at the disposal of students which can be accessed by the students.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for hostel facility. I didn't think it was required and so I cannot rate it with a personal experience. However I have heard from my friends that the hostel facility isn't much great.

External Expense: Rs. 2000 - 40000

Alumni/Alumna

There is no contact with the senior students once they pass out. However seniors are helpful during the course. They help in enlightening about the exam structure and the important areas of exams to score well.

Admission

Online via the university's site where I had to fill in my details and also take a DD of the specified amount. The DD was send in through post to their address which was specified in the site. I soon received a confirmation and my id.

Faculty

This being a distance education didn't have a facility for faculties daily however there were support materials provided by the university for convenience of studying and to tackle the exams. These materials were understandable and in a simple language.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others
