Remarks

So i would like to conclude that over all experience was pretty good environment is well maintained both in terms of teaching and extracurricular activities its agood place to study and grooms for both genders.

Entrance Preview

I've appeared for IIT-JEE,BITSAT,AIEEE,UPTU though i got decent score in AIEEE but the college which i wanted under AIEEE was lying beyond my score so i chose UPTU as my last option over several other exams as i've got 3000 rank under obc category so i opted for CET-IILM-AHL which is located in greater noida with specialization in electrical and electronics engineering. The admission process in uptu is quiet a hectic process you have to be patient while choosing or i should say locking your choice of your college. They call student in lot wise as per there ranks like 1st to 4000 on one day rest on other and so on so i got a call to attend the admission process on very first day. So i had already made a list of some good and reputed college rank wise which i supposed should my as per my rank so i accordingly locked the choices on the very next day i got my college which i locked on third position based on the availability so this was a brief idea about admission process in UPTU colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was quiet good actually aur classes generally starts from 9:30 A.M to 2:30 P.M and between that we had six lectures including one practical lab. Since i was from electrical and electronics department we used to study both electrical and electronics subjects so it qiet vast and tough to clear. We had total five subjects per semester and total eight semesters and fifty six mid sems.

Internships Opportunities

After i'd cleared my 6th semester exam i got intership offer from N.T.P.C ltd. Its like mecca for electrical graduates and also the dream company to work for so i did intership from NTPC Rihand nagar which was near rihand dam there i've spent almost two months learning and exploring all the concept which i had learnt theoritically those 2 months was my golden period because being electrical graduate i had got a chance to work as an intern in one of the biggest PSU on india. I learnd alot on the same time i'd also cleard my several doubts.all in all it was a "Dream Come True" expeerience.

Placement Experience

4

I my last year at college i've attended several on campus placements the companies which came in my college for placements were WIPRO TECH 2.4 LPA,MERCER 3.0 LPA,MASSTECH 3.0 LPA,HCL TECHNOLOGIES 2.8 LPA So finally i got placed in HCL TECHNOLOGIES for noida location on a package of 2.8 LPA and my profile was associate software engineer. There were total 46 students placed place from my batch in different companies though i was from core field i got placed in software firm thanks to my soft skills which helped me to bag that job.

College Events

3

A hell lot of events were organised by my college such as tech fest(ROBOTICS),cultural fest, quiz comptetion, half marathon, inter college cricket tournament, basket ball, foot ball, volley ball, badminton out of these Live participated in robotics and cricket tournament my team got 2nd price in robotics comptetions and stood runner up in the inter college cricket tournament.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming to the fee structure UPTU is said to be expensive when compared to other engineering colleges here generally an average college could cost you about Rs 1,25000 per year and about Rs 70000 of your hostel charges my college fee structure was as follows Tution fees 1,12000,Hostel charges 65000,Security 15000 refundable,Book bank 10000.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per the scholarship UP government has provided a sum of 85000 rs for the students whose parents income was less than 1 lakh per annum this was something good initiative specially for deserving students.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life was just awsome which i enjoyed and missed the most apart from that extracurricular activities such as cricket was my one of the most favourite games in which i participated frequently. They all were organised well by my college and managed well.

Hostel Facilities

3

Coming to my hostel and other facilities hostel infrastructure was quiet decent, rooms were sufficiently big to accomodate three students as they all were three seaters we were give separate almiras and study tables and washrooms were attached this was something which i like the most in my hostel. Mess food was of average quality as of course what would you expect it was same almost in all hostels across india.

Alumni/Alumna

At the time of placements seniors supported the most they helped me alot straight from very first day of my college to last semester they used to give us tips on how to tackle tough interviews and also prepared us for GD's. All in all my seniors were ver supportive and encouraging.

Exam Structure

If you are a B.Tech graduate than u have to accept the harsh reality of exams every now and and than in totality in B.Tech official number of exams is approximately 48 apart from that there are several other surprise test conducted to check our in depth knowledge by our faculties so it is quiet tiring situation but u will used to of this once u have cleared your 1st year semester.so the bottom line is if you are choosing B.Tech as a career than be ready to face those series of unending exams.

Faculty

4

Coming to faculty and the standards so I would like to say that in my stream which was electrical and electronics the standards of faculty was good they were all had deep indepth knowledge of their respective fields as well as they were all came from some good and reputed universites across india. There teaching methodology was impressive specially electrical core subjects were taught with a good teaching standards so if i have to rate my faculty based on 10 pointer scale i would rate them 8 out of 10.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
