Likes
- Area was good as compared to other colleges. There was ground and sports facilities also.
- Faculties and management was easy to reach and approach regarding any issues or challenges faced by the student.
Dislikes
- The security was not at that point during 2022 as anyone else from other colleges can enter in our college fest and on other events.
- The Mess food was not during 2022, as sometimes there some insects or any type of things come in the food/platter that we cannot eat and the mess was also not hygienic sometime.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was good as IILM is the University so it can be updated own its own. The curriculum have industrial visit and the direct interaction with the industrial people so we can get the updates that what's going in the industry. The areas of improvement can be done in the teaching methods like more practicals instead of learning theory part. The timing of final sem exams was divided into two shifts: Morning Shift (10:00 AM to 1:00 AM) and Evening Shift (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) The mid sem was also divided into two shifts Morning and Evening.
Internships Opportunities
In Omays The Re-Engineering (startup based), I get the intern and as well as a PPO of 4-5 LPA I cannot express the project due to company guidelines and the outcomes were I know about the work industry, how to work in deadlines and how to handle work pressure.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement or for any intern I visited V2 retails and i get around 4-5 LPA offer in sales and marketing. Highest was 5 LPA from Omays The Re-Engineering(startup based) , it was a PPO. I don't know the percentage of the students getting placed. After getting degree , to contribute in organisations or we can say work in a company
Fees and Financial Aid
So, the fee structure was like this: College fee was divided in 2 method: 1. for normal core subjects and specialization for other students fee was: 150000 Rs per year (no collab with IBM) 2. for the students those who have applied specialization from the first year fee was: 200000 Rs per year (150000 core subjects + 50000 for specialization and that has a collab with IBM) Total fee was 800000 Rs for IBM collab Total fee was 600000 Rs for no collab with IBM I did not get the scholarship due to less marks. But some of my friends get the scholarships. The amount must be around 20 to 30 k and i guess that must also adjusted in their fee structure. I paid 200000 Rs for every year from 2022 (100000Rs per semester) The Lab fee and other extra fee was included in the tution fee only
Campus Life
The annual festival was Dandiya night, tech fest was MOSAIC, TEDX The range was good enough for books and journals in the library. The facilities were Projector, AC, Power backup and etc. Sports and extracurricular activities happens like cricket-football-basketball intercollege tournaments Yes , there were many social groups like sports, social media and etc. It creates impact as the other students who were introvert or shy get courage to participate in the activities held in universities.
Admission
I applied in Gautam Buddha University and I got a confirmed admission from the University. I did not choose the University as the hostel fee was compulsory and it was expensive as I expected from a State University. No. I did not get rejection form other college. As in 2022 IILM become the University before that it was connected with AKTU, so there was no exams procedure and there was a scholarship eligibility if you have 80% or more than that you can get a scholarship from IILM UNIVERSITY.
Faculty
During 2022: The faculty to student ratio was 1 faculty on every 40-50 student. The faculty and student relationship was good enough and the faculties were easily approachable and during exam time also. Every faculty was best in their field and there was no faculty to whom i did not liked. Everyone have their personal bonding with the faculties. The faculty was unliked by the student if he/she scold the student or give a lot of work. But there was no faculty who was not in the disliked case. The exams are based on the subjects per semester, Every semester have around 7-8 subjects including their lab viva also. The exams were not that tough and noe that much easy but the exam format was medium only. Some of the students fail in the exam and the reasons were debarred, not studied about the subject, cheating and etc. No one student get fails if he/she had personal problems with the faculties or with the staff members in the college.
Night Life
The gym was not good that much , cafeterias and library were good hostel have rules and regulations , campus entry was ban after 8 PM Famous Hangouts area was Venice mall, Omax mall, Metro is reachable and the market was also near college The public area is also safe.
