Entrance Preview
Actually, i took a TANCET exam and scored around 29 marks. I went to Coimbatore for attending a counselling session. Before i went for a session many colleges admission have been closed. But, i found a college which belongs to sathyabama group. So, I felt its good to choose any college from the sathyabama institution. I left out with jeppiaar and i choosed it.
Course Curriculum Overview
As our college comes under Anna University, our college doesn't play any roles on the curriculum. Its according to the Anna university standards. But the curriculum has been opt for the course. I took MBA FInance/HR. I came to know many things in finance after studying.
Internships Opportunities
Initially , i couldn't find any company for my internship. Myself and one of my friend roamed around many industrial estates. But no one is ready to give an internship to us. Atlast i went to my father and let him know the status. My dad has referred me in his company and we are able to complete our internship successfully. We dont got any stipend for our internship.
Placement Experience
The overall placement opportunities was good in our institution. Almost 60% of my friends got placed.List of Companies TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Careernet, ICICI, GMR. They have been offered a decent package at that time. Initially, those who got placed almost offered a package of 3 Lakhs and above annually.
College Events
We went for many Industrial Visits during our course. We went to Pepsi manufacturing unit, Frooti Manufacturing Unit, Madras Stock Exchange etc. About the cultural events our college will conduct symposiums. So students from other college also participated. We also went to other colleges for symposiums and won some prizes. Also, the annual day event we will never ever forget in our life.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As i went through the govt. Quota i didn't spend much. Altogether i have spent around 1,75 Lakhs to complete the course. This fee structure is inclusive of Food and Transport. For those who have joined in the management quota they have spent around 2,75 lakhs to complete the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually i have availed a community scholarship. Also, for a sports people college will take care of everything including fees, hostel and food.
Campus Life
About the gender ratios i can say its 60:40. So, women are equally occupied like guys. Regarding the extra curricular activities they will give equal preference as studies. If your a sporty they will nurture your skill and make you to participate in competitions. There wont be any gender biased or status biased in our campus.
Hostel Facilities
I am a day scholar in college. So, i didn't know much about hostel life. But, during the cultural event i will stay in the college for 2-3 days. It was good. The basic amenities will be there. The food will be too good in our college. Its also unlimited. So, those who are foodie can join our college.
Alumni/Alumna
I went for the 1st year alumni. It was awesome experience. So, i met many of my friends and shared our experience in the last 1 year. Then i moved to bangalore, pune etc. So, i couldn't attend the alumni function.
Faculty
The faculties of our college was quiet good. They have adequate knowledge to clarify all our doubts. Also they will also share some industrial experience as some of them already worked for some companies . Its very good to know the practical experience of them.
