Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

There was no research orientated classes no proper industrial visits were conducted. Just some Guest Lecturers Who just came by and said some things. The course curriculum was mostly therotical and labs and practicals were all bihearted. My hostel life made me a more mature person.

Placement Experience

1.5

No internships and not even a single company from the petroleum sector came for recruitment only one company that too a petrochemical one came but they didn't want us they want chemical engineering students and other than that most of them were IT companies and some mechanical ones that's all.

College Events

1

Annual day celebration and science fairs and other cultural festivals and Expo where other college and school students are invited. Mainly cultural Celebrations were South Indian side but it was fun other than each department had their own symposiums.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fees 100000, mess 3500, Hostel 15000, Lab and other utilities 20000 Caution deposit 5000 Fines collected as a group nearly 25000 in four years for unexplained reasons but were forced to pay to write the exam Transportation Fees for Non-hostelers 25000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Availed for education loan through our ward bank. No scholarship was offered for majority of the students. In our state each ward is allocated with a bank for students to avail education loans.

Campus Life

2.5

Hostel life was the best but other than that nothing much memorable. There was no sports or anything conducted by the college other than we used to play cricket on evenings. No extracurricular activities but symposiums were conducted by each departments other than that Science Expos.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms were average and more over toilets both attached and non attached were worse and interrupted water supply. A movie was played every weekend and hostel was seperated in two Normal Mess and premium mess. Normal ones got few insects in them from time to time and Premium mess was better made for mainly North Indian students.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni website but rarely anyone uses it other than that I get frequent mails about latest vacancies and college infos etc.

Admission

Fake interview was asked to deposit 50000 for securing a seat in the course. I opted this college because it offered courses in Oil and Gas and was near to my home. Wanted to pursue something different but ended working in a different industry. Admission date was informed through a call and everything was all of a sudden didn't get to see the hostel rooms or anything.

Faculty

3

Most of them were nice and knowledgeable and there were some who knows everything and stubborn as hell and would create a huge ruckus out of small issues and of course spies. Moving on most of them who I have seen there were ones less knowledge about their fields and subjects only a select few were capable of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
