The management don't have much part to play in the college the faculties run it smoothly. Some applied pressures are dealt with students. Have a healthy atmosphere at college.

Yes the moma scholarship is a very good scholarship almost every minority community student apply for it and they get their reward as well.

Campus Life

The campus life is extraordinary, much freedom in the campus.students can indulge in any kind of extracurricular activities of their wish the college has very good sports team.

Hostel Facilities

The mess provides quality food and the price is feasible the canteen is very neat and the service is really good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the alumnis are placed in fine companies with good salaries and the college has produced some good student partners and also alumnis have good contacts with google community.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is as per the university direction but it comes with enough day in bw to study for every subject and the exams normally ensure the quality.

Faculty

The faculties are really qualified most of them have mtech degree and all teachers have deep knowledge about their subjects which helps the students to learn better abd are really friendly too.

Is engineering here worth it?

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA
