Remarks

It's a great college with a nice placements record. It has a beautiful campus in the mountains and a very peaceful and productive environment. It has an AIRD raking around 125 (approx). It is well rich in both academic and non-academic activities. It's 28km away from Shimla, making it a nice place to study and live by.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus at JUIT is just great, they always try to cover all the important aspects required and give more focus on practical learning. It's great to be a part of JUIT and I have learned a lot of things here.

Placement Experience

Recently a senior got placed at Amazon at a big package of 28lakhs, placements at my college are good. Mass recruiters give the package of 3. 6 lakhs. If a student is skilled and working hard he can easily achieve a package near 10-12 lakhs/annum.

College Events

Campus life is amazing, I live on -2 floor in hostel. Seniors are so helpful and so many fest's take place in our college, they all are managed by students and it's so much fun being a part of them. Fest's are huge there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

Placements are average , it totally depends on the students skills and their cgpa. From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Redhat vistited the campus and made more than 200 offers. 171+ companies visited. Highest package is 1.11cr, average is 6lpa. 70% students gets placed. Planning to go in tech related jobs in industries after getting the degree.

Worst management ever.they are not helpful at any things.they only make fake promise at start but no promises had been fulfilled. No placement no extra curriculum no events no sports no clubs nothing at all.I don't know how I spend my time in that college

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. Juit is good

I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
