College life at VIPS is just too goodYou can roam around in parks, play cricket, crack jokes, pranks It's just awesome to be hereYou enjoy in classroom too, You can easily score well with a little attention at your studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course overall is very good, as you can study C, C++, Data Structures, Java, VB.Net, Operating Systems, DBMS, and there's lot more to explore in all the subjectsYou can do a specialization in any of the one which can leed you to a good company with a great package.There's an advantage for the students with maths in 10+2 bcoz for 4 semesters it is an integral part of the curriculum. Teachers are of great help always even after passing out the college.

No, unfortunately there is no internship in our college.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. The companies are good but as seen from BCA viewpoint, The package is usually between 2-5 lac pakage a good opportunity for those who want to gain just a job experience for 2-3 years and then pursue MS afterwards.

College Events

A lot of cultural and technical events are organised in the college like fests for different department like Spandan for BJMC, vconnect for BCA etc, There's a lot of crowd in spandan for obvious reasons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is as following: 1st year - 69, 800 (40, 000 at the time of counselling + 23, 800 at college + 5, 000 security at college) 2nd year - 63, 800 (at college) 2nd year - 63, 800 (at college), It is obviously lesser than that of the B.Tech, There's no hostel or mess in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any but yes I think there is one for physically handicapped students.

Campus Life

Gender Ratio - In our class out of 60 students 25 are girls and 35 boys. It's almost similar in all the sections boys : girls :: 56 : 44, A lot of sports events are also organised in the college like badminton, cricket, volleyball etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are always helpful as they provide us notes and the feedback of teachers.

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

My overall experience a IGNOU has been good the universities very helpful for students who want flexible and affordable education along with other responsibilities
The study material provided by IGNOU is detailed and easy to understand and the examination process is transparent
One of the best thing about IGNOU is its low fee structure and flexibility in learning

Dislikes

However there are some areas that need improvement sometime the administrative process can be slow and getting quick responsive from study centre may take time
Campus life is limited compared to regular colleges because IGNOU mainly focus on distance learning
Placement support exist but is not a strongest regular University so students upon need to rely on their own skills and efforts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would read the IGNOU courses curriculum has good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the syllabus is well structured and design for distance learning with study material explain concept clearly and support service study this flexibility and affordability for the main reason I choose this course the curriculum provides are strong theoretical foundation and is useful for father studies as well as basic professional knowledge how ever Addy more practical exposure life internet is session and update industrial oriented content could make the course even better IGNOU conductor and examination twice a year along with compulsory assignment that contribute to the final marks the exam schedule is convenient and difficulty level is moderates student to follow the study materials and cement on the time can clear the exam without much difficulty or all the curriculum is student friendly relevant and su suitable for learner who prefer flexible higher education while managing other responsibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was very old I think there was a change in syllabus and activities for the students. Provide practical knowledge and work on skills development rather then written knowledge Because skills helps for placement not anything else.

Canteen was really good, various variety of veg and non-veg food was available
Library was a good place to study and concentrate
Ground area was very big to take a stroll

Dislikes

Too much academic pressure was put as there were exams every 2 weeks
There were no events held through out the 3 years
Very bad placement cell, no opportunities for placement at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was not up to date at all, the languages taught are outdated, I had to persue courses from institutions to gain experience. Very little practical knowledge was given in each subject, the subjects were taught from theory point of view

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
