Remarks

Deboraj Roy College is one of the NAAC A grade rewarded college. The college is the best college in our district. Moreover, Deboraj Roy College is a famous college of Assam and affiliated with Dibrugarh University. I choose history as the major subject because I love history and it helps me in my career.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus is prepared by Dibrugarh University because our college is affiliated with that university. This course syllabus gives us knowledge of history deeply. Most importantly we perfectly know about our Assam history very well. Our teachers are very careful and best. Teaching faculties is the best in college.

Placement Experience

Our college Deboraj Roy College has a very low placement rate. There are hardly held any Job fairs. Very few students get jobs after passing out. Most of the students go for higher studies after passing out and they successfully able to get seats in Assam's best university's.

College Events

Our college campus is known as "Debodaru Nagari". The campus is pretty good. There are many beautiful benches to siting in the rest time. Our college organises our annual college week very beautifully. Many famous artists performed at cultural nights. All students can enjoy and participate in all the events that college organise.

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Good college. Its the best college near my home. Its graded A by NAAC. This college have good result always under Dibrugarh University. Not so far from my home. A beautiful campas the college have. The college is on the periphery of town. Thats why it has good environment. The students can concentrate in the class. Good facility of toilets. 24×7 hrs water.
