Remarks
I choose VIT because it matches with IITs and the infrastructure, the academics are all up to the mark. I opted for the course BCA because I was interested in computers, and I had VIT very near to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Compared to other local colleges, the course curriculum and syllabus was very well updated, we learned much in 3 years than those Btech students of other colleges. We had lab facilities, which we don't usually see in other colleges, for BCA. We had IVs every semester to gives us some industrial exposure. There were many hackathons, competitions related to my field for some extra knowledge.
Placement Experience
There are plenty of opportunities, it's all on a student to use them or not. You will surely get placed if you maintain good grades and don't get into any undisciplinary activity. The Alumni network is good, we will be connected through a web portal. Startups are plenty, you can google them.
College Events
When talking about events, we have two kinds of events one a technical event called gravitas and the other a cultural event called Riviera. They both are just awesome you will never get bored in these events. Not only this we have weekly some events going because there are so many clubs in the college, they always keep some events. Riviera is all about culture, we have pro shows cultural competitions, etc.
Campus Life
The college infrastructure is very good. We have WIFI available in the hostel when in campus student WIFI is a bit slow when compared to hostel WIFI. We have a huge library, we can find any books we want including encyclopedias, novels, journals, etc. There is a huge playground, and basketball volleyball courts and also a gymnasium for both boys and girls. Swimming classes are also given.
