Remarks

I choose this College because it's near to my home and course is because I was interested in electronics. This College has good laboratory and very good equipment and support from the faculty so I was interested joining here. But there is no placements at all, I came to know afterwards.

Course Curriculum Overview

Visveswaraya technological University syllabus is waste, electronic engineer needs both embedded systems and programming part, but they teach mainly Embedded systems, they are very weak in programming subjects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did my project at DRDO it is a central government defense company, I was in radaras systems it was a great experience, it was many students dream projects. I'm lucky I was involved in it.

College Events

Technical team is very good. Lab equipment are very update. Faculty with technical knowledge are always there to help us. Cultural activities are done regularly, they even participate in state level. There is a good support from the management for cultural activities. Management fest is arranged once a year it will be avarage to boring.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide loan estimation documents for avaialing loan in any bank. They provide schoolarship for sc/St students through karnataka Government. OBC candidates can obtain schoolarship from ePass website.

Campus Life

It has good classroom, good labs, football, volleyball, indoor games, canteen, it has wifi all over the campus, it has big library. It has a student hall, where everyone can come and complete there notes and assignments.

Hostel Facilities

No, but hostel is there only for male candidates. Hostel rate is around 80 thousand per year, it is waste of money, there are 3-4 sharing rooms, they provide hot water 3 times food and evening snacks.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

A good college for completing engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose this course it comes in my way though I applied for cs ec I didn't get that course as my cet ranking is high Student-faculty ratio 70:5. All faculty are well versed either they pass from IIT or nit or gold medalists in their respective colleges. To pass all know how is vtu same as other colleges which fall under vtu.
