Yes curriculum groomed to provide industry specific knowledge like in MBA there is 2 months training which we called as Summer training.companies come and select the students for summer training on the basis of CGPA in 1 sem and also by Group discussion and PI round

Placements are upto the marks as the lowest package is 4 and highest is 6.5.Soo as according to the fees placement are not soo gud

College Events

There are events like TATAVA for MBA, TITIkISHA for economic students.all streams have different different events.many students come from outside to attend this events also.there is one star night also.overall it is good.it goes for 3 days

Expensive as compared to other Business schools.as this university is not well recognised soo 5.5 lakh for MBA course is very high.hostels also not up to the marks.hostels does not have AC even.so i thing 5.5 lakh is very huge amont.overall this university is good

talking about scholarships you can get on your semester basis and also is your MAT and CAT percentile is above 85 than also u can get one year scholarship

University facility is very gud.taking about MBA Department facility is experienced and we study Harvard business school cases in each subjects and the morning starts with 9 and lecture goes on 5PM but sometimes there are extra lectures also.there are assignments on daily basis

Yes hostel is complusary for everyone where u also from near by areas also it is complusary for everyone to take hostels.and they get hostels according to their Subjects all MBA are placed in one hostel

Admission

Through CAT exam and MAT exam but you can also give university entrance exam to join the MBA course and you must have more than 60% in your graduation and also by the proper producer of the university like giving the GD and The PI for the selection and also the document verification

Review about the The Business School, University of Jammu

Likes

The course is very much affordable as comparison to the other colleges providing the MBA
The Campus environment is very much eco friendly
Well qualified staff that too very much experienced

Dislikes

Small batch size the total size of the batch is almost 60 -65 students
Self finance seat costs almost 3 lakh rupees in addition to the course fee
There is much provision for the reservations

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements from 3rd semester itself. The companies that provide placement in the department are ICICI BANK, AMAZON , ITC, BIRLA OPUS, HDFC BANK and many other . The ICICI Bank offers the highest package i.e. almost 10 lakh .

Being consistent is more important than being motivated

Likes

The library of the college is good I mean you will get every type of book.
Park is very neat and clean and is maintained very well.
Infrastructure is too good neat and clean.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not too good I mean very few students gets accomodation
All the faculties are not too supportive to students.
Campus placement percentage is very less (8%)

I choose the course because I was working in a private company as a team leader where I feel still need to learn more management skills to enhance my career at a better place.the faculty of the college is moderate.the semister exams are conducted very timely.

Golden Days of College

Likes

Flexibility of availing library facility when required
Campus is good and needs to be upgraded more.

Dislikes

Even these days where technology is advance, faculties are working as per old module
Campus should be renovated and new technology should be introduced

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to to Bca as i was into softwares and my interest has always been into technology. 40 students over a faculty Most of the Faculties were PHD and well educated and their teaching method was above par It was never on time and it wasn't much difficult to pass exams

Last semester students become eligible for campus placement in the central university of Jammu.Companies visited Aditya Birla group job profile- Talent Acquisition HR, BYJU'S - Human Resource Manager, Innvalous Technology - Inside sales marketing /etc, Highest placement package offered 10 LPA CTC. 50 % of students get placed from the central university of Jammu with a good package. My plan is to start my own business in the field of marketing.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for the campus placements and students starts getting job offers from various companies such as Pepsi, Hdfc, Axis, Unilever, etc. with a starting package of 4lakh-6lakh per annum. Almost 80% of the students every year gets the campus placements.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
