My college has the best infrastructure to provide for its students with workshops, number of laboratories each meant for seperate branches to conduct experiments, community centres, auditoriums, well equiped library and at last the atmosphere that makes me feel that this is the best institution I have ever went to.
The course comprises of four years. Each year is divided into two semesters. So total there are eight semesters to study. In these two semesters there are two semester end exams respectively. The number of papers that are answered are six with each paper carrying 100 marks. For the third year onwards students are trained for the campus placements. Every year there is a field trip organised to certain desired locations like industries, power plants etc.
Regarding placements our institution is regarded as the first choice to go for any companies conducting recruitments. One becomes eligible for campus placements only if his/ her percentile ranges above 60 for last six semesters. Students are advised to avail internships as soon as they reach third year.
Our college is very active in participation and also in conducting various cultural, technical events. Our college organises events based on the semesters like for even semesters they organise one event named spectrum and for odd semesters they organise two events called tandav and happenings.
The fee structure in our institution is divided based on which category the student has done their admission. For general category students they have to pay full fee. For reserved category students there is a concession of fifty per cent on their fees. The fee payment mode is semester wise and it can paid through net banking or any debit card.
Our institution does offer scholarships for the students studying. The scholarships that are offered are mostly for the reserved category students.
Our campus cover a very large areain terms of square meters. It also has provision for hostel living seperate for boys and girls. Talking about the gender ratio there is boys ratio is little higher than that of girls. Workshops are organised by every department for every semesterand students are enrolled in that by an online registration. There is no discrimination based on religion or race. There are number of organisations like students council, NSS, Gymkhana etc
Every year on the ocassion of reopening of the college at the council inauguration there is an alimni meet wherein an alumni interacts with students specially the freshers and shares their experience regarding this institution.
I loved to study about things related to electrical and was curious to know how electrical devices and instruments worked. My institution is rated as the top most institution in our state. Also it has highly qualified and experienced teaching staff. I answered gcet exam and got the admission as per the merit
Our college faculty is rated as the best among the other colleges with ample of experience in their respective fields. Since our course consists of both electrical and electronics, the lecturers alloted are distinguished between elctrical and electronics. Since there are six subjects each faculty is given one subject. For the next semester the subjects change so also the faculty.
From semester 6 the students become eligible for placements. Minimum 60% (average of preceding semesters) is needed for placements. The percentage of students getting place varies every year. My plan is to get a good-paying job and also to do MTech degree. I'm in third year currently, will be going to final year in August/September once this COVID situation gets litter better. The placements have not yet started because the college has not yet reopened.
