There is no ragging at all. There are so many food stalls inside campus. Students' security is good. Best infrastructure in all private universities of India. Hostel buildings are well ventilated and nice. Building and infrastructure of LPU is nice. In hostels you get your personal bathroom.

Studying in LPU makes one feel no less than any other private college.A few points i would like you all to know:- The campus is big enough and by saying big i really mean it.You would like it when you join as a fresher,but later it would feel as a headache. Walking to college , coming back,going to library etc, would make you really tired.(though it’s good for the health-perception matters) I would now talk about the faculty. As you all the know that the number of students studying in the university is quite large. To cope-up with this large number, the university tends to hire teachers who lack former experience. I would not say that they are foolish or not graduated,but the key thing they lack is not able to express themselves properly.But there are some very good teachers as well mostly the head of department of a particular branch. The students who perform well goes into an elite batch which is taught by these teachers. Coming to co-cultural/co-curricular activities.I don’t know what anyone says but the i saw it by myself that LPU offers a great number of opportunities for these things.They have a special department for these activities.Many inter and intra school events are organized and conducted. A few details about mess and wifi facilities. Wifi is good with a surfing speed of about 100–200 kb/sec.A good thing about it is it’s unlimited (if you know how to).I feel mess food is terrible.But it varies according to different people.Breakfast and lunch is bearable but dinner is pretty awful.One good thing about the university is that they allow food stalls outside the hostels.Food here is really good and quite cheap. Hostel is very good as compared to other private and government colleges. 4- seater rooms are quite big and comfortable with attached bathroom and balcony.Ragging free environment provides a peaceful living. The wardens are completely useless,though i feel that they do not have any role to play in the hostel.Fighting issues are very rare and are mostly sorted out within themselves. Finally i would like to talk something about placements and studying environment. I believe that if someone wants to study nobody can disturb that person. The library is not a place to study(if you believe me).Though u can get all the books related to your courses .Studying is done only in your room.I would not say much about placement as i am in the second year.But i believe that if a person works hard he/she can achieve whatever is desired.

LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2019-2020 for campus placements, students training/workshops, faculty development, etc. and the process is still going on at full pace. And this year already more than 550 placement drives of leading industry giants have been conducted successfully (more than 90% MNCs) for students passing out in 2020. College festivals and events bring so much vibrancy and zeal and most importantly the opportunities for students to explore their talents which make them one of the most important aspects of the college. The main college festival of LPU is the YouthVibe and what do I say, it’s been one of best times of my life participating in it, initially as a performer and then as one of the organisers. However, that’s not the only event at our university! LPU also has Concotech which is a robotic showdown between students, the fashion show – Ensemble, Concoction – the intra-college cultural festival, LPU’s Got Talent, LPU’s Literary Fest and the Magnitude which is the gateway to YouthVibe consisting of numerous qualifiers before the festival itself. At LPU, not only has the university helped me excel at my subjects but these events have helped me shape a confident personality and work on my talents while developing new skills. Especially YouthVibe, this grand youth festival is celebrated annually and gives platform to so many students that it has become the most awaited event at LPU. The list of events is so long that it takes 5 whole days to get done with all of them. My time as a performer in YouthVibe was extremely fun, but as one of the organisers, conducting Magnitude and facilitating the fest and the students who participate is so much better! The YouthVibe festival is absolutely massive when it comes to the students involved and the events that organized under it. It is an open global festival and promises experiences of a life time! LPU provides scholarships on various basis which does continue only when you get marks above certain criteria which is the student shall maintain a CGPA of 8.00 (or 72% marks in marks based programs) in first year (first two semesters), 8.5 CGPA (i.e. 76.5% marks) in second year and 9.0 CGPA (i.e. 81% marks) in third year. In case the CGPA falls below the prescribed limit, the special scholarship will be withdrawn and normal scholarship will be applicable in successive years as per the qualifying marks in eligibility qualification or any other criteria as normally applicable. The special scholarship (full Program fee waiver) will not be continued again on attaining required condition in the subsequent semester(s). Result / CGPA declared till the last date of payment of fee (without late fee) will be considered for deciding continuation of scholarship for the next term(s). I can give you an example also suppose if A student had 89% marks in 10+2 but he was topper of his state board and thus admitted with full Program fee waiver and four Seater (Air Cooled room) residential facility. Fee for the successive terms is supposed to be paid before the end term exam of previous term. So fee of 2nd term is paid before the end of first term and similarly fee of 3rd term is paid before the end of 2nd term and so on. So by default the student admitted under this Scholarship scheme will not be asked to pay the fee of 2nd term as his result of 1st term will not be out by the last date of fee payment for 2nd term. So full scholarship offered at the time of admission will continue for second semester. However, by the last date of payment for the fee of 3rd semester, student must have CGPA of 8.0 and in case CGPA declared till date (only result of 1st semester may be available by now) is less than 8.0, Then full Scholarship of the student will be suspended and from the third term onwards student will be awarded with Scholarship of 80% - 90% bracket and student will also be required to pay the fee of residential fee (residence). Scholarships provided on the basis of sports , R&D , culture , social service, and co-curricular also will only be continued if you have played any national or university in that year . your attendance also plays an important role if you want to continue your scholarship.

This place called ‘lpu' is rich in extracurricular activites. I believ It organises more events than any other university in india hence rendering one with rich and diverse experience of various cultures and religions around the globe. Coming to your query, i would divide the answer in 3 parts Free free free! Participation in lpu's most awaited and amazing event like one IndiaAnd one world Is absolutely free but you need to get you or your team registered before the vacancies are filled up. And they get filled up really fast. Other events like independence day events, republic day event, concoction event, lpu's got talent etc are also free. You just have to be in touch with the seniors who already participate so that you are updated with the dates of registration. And guess what You can learn to dance, sing, play various instruments (guitar, harmonium, drum, keyboard etc) , join athletics, learn gatka (sikh martial art), taekwondo, karate, judo, basketball, football, Volleyball, softball etc. for free( no hidden charges) yea except swimming. Swimming pool is being built and would be completed soon( as claimed by the administration since last 4 years :P) 2. Paid paid paid! Some small events that are run by student organizations are paid like smtimes modeling, some dance events with cash prizes, singing events and the like small events. 3. Gyming There are two gyms in the campus. One run by the college administration and the other run by third party in the campus called ‘fitness edge'. For the college gym you have to pay 1500–2000 for six months. And the other fancy gym will cost you around 18–20k for an year. Though i had many friends who managed to negotiate the price to 12k per year. In lpu hundreds ( i mean hundreds) of events are organised every year. Its next to impossible to track all the events going on in this little City called lovely professinal university :). But if you manage to make contacts with other active participants it becomes easy to explore the opportunities. All the best.

Since LPU has this very BIG Campus So, the girls hostels are at the beginning of the Campus and ends in between the Campus and from there starts the Boys Hostel and ends at the end of the Campus and So, you will get a choice to choose your hostel near to your block. When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldn’t have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc. To some people a hostel may sound like restriction but to me it never was, I always had my own enough space. I have lived in a Flat outside Campus and inside Campus hostel too. If I had to rate between the both , The Hostel life was much much better. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you’ll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination : Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn’t exists here. There is a complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostel’s. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination.

Yes, LPU organizes alumni meets on a regular basis. Both national and international students form part of the university’s big alumni network. The next meet i.e. LPU Alumni Homecoming 2019 is on 27 April. Current LPU students and faculty members have planned performances for this alumni meet that is going to happen in a few days. Another highlight of this alumni meet is that alumni awards would be presented to honor the efforts of different people. Current LPU students and professors will also be given a chance to reconnect with the alumni and exchange thoughts. The one before this took place in Jaipur on 14 April. The process of taking admission in LPU is very easy. First of all decide the course in which you want to take admission in and check for its eligibility criteria for that particular course. As per my knowledge,Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialized and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs,IIM’s etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge.They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level . Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's,IIM’s Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable.
