Remarks
LPU is one of the largest single-campus universities in India with over more than 4,000 faculty and staff members, LPU currently offers over 300 programmes to the students. The campus of LPU houses a central library, a mac lab, an aviation lab, cultural clubs, a hospital, hostels, a gymnasium, an indoor stadium, outdoor playgrounds, ATMs, over 300 eating kiosks, and University mall.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers of LPU are to helpful and knowledgeable, but I don't like their way of teaching. Many of them are doing internships of teaching to get experience. The course curriculum is relevant, and it helps to make students industry-ready
Placement Experience
The number of students in the course (CSE) is pretty high but only few are serious about the placements. So, anyone having the skills are able to get a good package. The highest package offered in 2019 was 40 lacs by Microsoft. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google offer jobs as well as internships.
Campus Life
All facilities are up to the mark, and it is the best college among all private colleges in India. Lovely Professional University Jalandhar hostels are Wi-Fi enabled, and they have both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security, surveillance system, etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are single rooms costing up to 1.6 lac per year And four seater which I opt which is the best option costing 65k. The campus is surrounded by over four thousand CCTV cameras. Security has never been a major issue here. Both AC and Non AC rooms are available here. People are mainly anxious of the residential universities but I suggest you to come here with out and doubt.
