They took security money of 10000 before admission but never returned it. Not good for placement faculty is ok.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was relevant. There were lots of theory and practical in the course. There were unit test before semester examination. Every six month there is a semester examination. But we used to get 3-4 month for study. So it was very hard to keep up.
Placement Experience
Placement of the college is not good at all. Only it department and computer science department got good placement. Other departments got no placement.
College Events
Nabin baran utsab' is celebrated in college each year for the new students who get admission in college. Various singing bands like rupam islam, bandage, bhumi has came in our college for the occasion. Its usually 5 days event. For first 4 days robot wars and various competetion are held in the college. On the last days the bands come.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure are ok. My fee for 1 st and 2nd semester was 39000, for 3rd and 4th sem it was 40000, for 5th and 6th sem it was 41000, for 7th and 8th sem it was 42000. I got admission on merit list of jee. But some of my class mate got admission through management quota by giving additional money.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provide scholarship for needy students. I never opted for a scholarship in the college. But some of my friend did.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. Ther is a canteen in our campus area that provides good food in reasonable price. The canteen is clean and food is also good. We used to hang out with our friends there. There is a basketball court also in the campus. And a small field where we used to play football.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel. the hostel rooms were sharing. Hostel seats are few though. I had to book earlier for a seat in hostel. Hostel food is not good though. I used to live with three other friends in the hostel room.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very helpful. They treated me like brother and help in every need. the first few days were bad. Because of ragging. Some face a lot of ragging some not. Usually its good after some days. If I needed any book for study that I didnt have they usually helped me with that.
Admission
Through joint entrance examination. I heard that the electrical engineering department of the college is great. So I opted for it. I had to appear for conciling as per my merit list in the joint entrance examination. After arrival we were requested to seat in a room. And explained us the admission process. The next day I got admitted in the college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is ok. Some faculty is very knowledgeable some are not. Some faculty helps in every problem and some faculty does not care about anyone's future or problem. But most of them were good. the head of the department of Electrical faculty was vey good and very knowledgeable.
