Remarks

College management is not up to the standards. Strict rules are maintained in the college. They treat us like we are in 1st grade of school. Rude behavior with the students. Overall I recommend not to join in the college if you are hoping for a better career.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course curriculum is not up to the mark and they always lag in teaching skills. And the course they teach us is not up to the knowledge. And literally they are no campus placements in the college. They show us the fake campus placements in the brochure but it is not like that at all.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placements and no internships in our college. Roughly 5-10 people are placed in call centres with 1. 5 lakh per annum package.

College Events

0.5

Cultural festival are done once in every year to encourage the students in extra curricular activities. No technical fests are done in our college. Once in every year college anniversary is celebrated in our college with the help of funds raised by the students and they ask money for celebrating the anniversary if we not give the money they will not allow the students to college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are selected by giving entrance exam and secure a good rank then the College fee is 70000/- per year and if you want seat in management quota then the fee is 6 to 8 lakhs for entire course and they charge you extra money every month for unreasonable college expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to students by the government and not by the college. Eligibility of the scholarship is taken care of the government and government decides about the scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Both male and female are given equal opportunities in the college. Strict rules are maintained in the college. No caste and no religion based issues are happend. Our college is very strict about the guidelines and they should be followed by the students.

Hostel Facilities

1

The college PG will cost you around 50000/- annually with food and the remaining things like washing clothes and other things we have to do it on our own. They provide only for living and food, rather than that there is no use of living in college PG.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good and help us to guide in a proper manner when we face any difficulties in the course. They are like brothers and taught us when they are any doubts present in the course and tell us how to build up our career.

Admission

After giving the entrance exam I got a rank of 43000 and according to my rank I got admission in this college. After joining the college the teaching is poor not up to the standards. But due to financial crisis I cannot leave the college after my 1st year of graduation so I have continued my studies but secured low grades in my entire course.

Faculty

1.5

There are roughly 40 lectures in our college and they are about 30-40 years of age and all of them are studied only B. tech course and some of them are M. tech graduates roughly 5-6 members. No doubt clarification is done by the management. Our college principal only supports the lectures not students. If anything happens they first suspend the student without knowing the reason for being suspended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
