Remarks

Overall Management was good. But the management people like principal andvice principal were changed much often

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is Ok but we expect much better curriculum than this. Course Curriculum contains laboratory practicals which gave us proper exposure to the practical knowledge about Electronics and Communication. Other than we had Industrial Visits and few trainings both insid and outside the college.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement was not much available for our batch since we were the first batch to get passed out from that college. HCL, Adithya Birla Group, igenesis are the companies which came for hiring in our college through campus placement. Prior to the Placement drive college provided us a training to prepare for the interview. The training was given by Australian people.

College Events

3.5

We have department associations to conduct events which will be managed by students only and will be guided by staff m members and it will be funded by our college administration. We will conduct a minimum of one symposium per year in which both our college students and other college students can participate and win in the events conducted at the symposium

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fee structure is less since I joined through Counselling. For Management quota fee will be higher. At the time of counselling itself we paid 7500 in Anna University which then deduced from admission fee at the college. Fee will be around 32500 per year. Other than that we have bus fee, Mess fee and exam fee. Exam fee was much lesser at our time compared to the current batch

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarships or loans but both scholarship and loans have been availed by many other members in our batch. For Scholarship college will distribute the forms to apply for scholarship and they will guide us to get that too. I dont have any idea about educational loan

Campus Life

4.5

Campus have much quite and nature based atmosphere. Gender ratio of our college is 2:1 male:female. As Mentioned earlier many workshops and symposiums will be conducted every year. Every department will conduct that events seperately. Other than that we have industrial visits and on the job training etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Since we are the first batch there were no alumni at that time. But now our batchmates are helping the juniors for placements. Administration is planning to conduct alumni meet every year

Admission

I got admission through Anna University Counselling held on the month of July 2008 and the classes started from August. Anna University Counselling will be based on the cut off marks obtained by us in HSC examination. Our College is affiliated with anna university chennai, so all the exams will be conducted by Anna University only

Faculty

4.5

There will be around 20 minimum lecturers/professors available in each department. For each and every subject there will be seperate staffs and for practical laboratory there will be a minimum of 3 lab assistants available. We will attend the classes through projectors with clear cut examples. Then they will be demonstrated in lab too if available.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
