Remarks

I love this college as it provides international exposure. The facilities in the campus life is supercool and the college is situated in an urban setting .They provide e- libraries, corporate boardroom in classroom, unique space, digital labs and the most interesting part is the college also have Mitra the first humanoid robot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is created and endorsed by industry leaders. They give three types of specialization a student can choose i.e. entrepreneurship, finance and marketing. Semester exams are taken with some practical papers and viva also.

Placement Experience

Placements offered here are of top companies like HDFC, Deloitte, KPMG, TATA mutual funds, The face shop etc. The leading global companies provide internships and jobs for the students. The stipend offered to the students is minimum Rs. 5,000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is expensive as the college is providing more than basic facilities a student wants. It is a two year program and the fee for which is Rs.10.46 lakhs. The course offers great placements which compensate this expensive fee.

There are a lot of events and extra curricular activities celebrated and organised every year. Capstone, fashion shows, creative lectures, guest lectures, conferences, seminars, sports events are so good in this college.

Admission

The students are selected on the basis of en trance examination.The exams on which students are selected are CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. To apply for admission the students should have to fill the form online and clear the exam. After clearing the exam the student has to appear for group discussion and personal interview.

Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Teaching is very good in my college, the faculty here is expert and pays well attention to the students.
It has a good competitive environment and overseas a great place to study
Good patient flow with timely clinical postings

Dislikes

Weak infrastructure,needs a lot of redevelopment in some buildings
Lack of amphitheatre and many other amenities in the campus
Hostels are not well equipped and facilities provided are poor

Curriculum is CBME one now, with all good changes like early clinical exposure, ensuring timely clinical postings of every year. It helps for the future pursuits and there are 4 exams per year with a gap of 1 to 2 months.

Likes

Faculty is good ,anti ragging campus , good environment
Ganpati and navratri is celebrated together it's amazing
Pratyush is held which has many events there's a week full of events different days are held

Dislikes

Fees is very high there's no concession as per caste it's same for everyone
Canteen food is expensive and there isn't separate canteen for ayurveda even RAIT students occupies the space
Only problem of college is it's expenses , even the building is not separate for ayurveda there's school of small kids and also hospital on 1st floor Even after paying 8 lakh college doesn't provide any lockers for students

Ayurveda is the ancient knowledge of medicine which also helps us to be a good human being if you study in detail it will also improve your sanskar and you'll definitely be a great human so it's very helpful and there are many diseases which can be completely cured by ayurveda as allopathy suppress the disease or pain but ayurveda completely cures it so I choosed this field About exams it's how 3 hours periodic exams of each subject are held every month 3 periodics each for 15 marks is held then1st term exam occurs after 6 months again 3 periodic are held then 2nd term again 3 periodic of each subject then university exam is held . University is also of 3 hours but there are 2 papers for each subject except for samhita And viva is also taken even in term exams for university external teachers are there for viva and for term faculty takes the viva

My course is artificial intelligence and machine learning which is a really interesting diploma. We have a practical lab for practicals and computers are available to us. Exams are conducted every 2 months and then semesters.

If you score well you then need to move for an interview with the vice dean and 7 days later you get a conditional/ unconditional offer from the institute. Reasons to choose this college is the new age of faculty and facilities. The college being at Indiabulls centre gives you a corporate touch. I joined this college as it had a lot of Practical Learning rather than bookish knowledge.
