NIT Arunchal Pradesh is Amazing!!

Likes

Ours is one of the latest NITs and therefore we have the best of facilities at our campus.
Government is actively involved in making our college better and better and hence we soon will be among top 10 NITs.
Unlimited and fastest of Wi-Fi is provided to the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotels nearby and therefore we have to use bus service to get out of the campus.

Placement Experience:

Lucky that I am doing ECE as companies like Huawei and Samsung are among the companies that hires our branch students. I am not sure about placements and all as how and when they are done is little far from in the year which I am currently studying.

Life at NERIST

Likes

The fist thing would be the location of the campus. It is located in the beautiful state of Arunachal Pradesh. Hence it provides breathtaking views in and around the campus.
The presence of many clubs and societies help in the overall growth of the students .
The faculty in the campus is very helpful and experienced.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college could be further improved to provide better facilities to the students.
The placement scenario in the college is not still upto the mark and can be improved further.
Though the boy and girl ratio is nor that bad but in certain courses the no. Of girl students are very limited.

Placement Experience:

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

The application can be submitted online or offline. I did online application. The eligibility criteria for my subject are 45% mark in class 12th with PCM. The candidates should have also passed JEE main with a good valid score. The candidates selected have to appear for counselling for verification of documents once their name is enlisted in the list.

Good college with qualified faculty

The admission starts with checking eligibility for the course one is opting for. For my course i.e. diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, the students should have qualified 10th standard from a recognized board with 50% marks. If the candidate is satisfying the eligibility criteria one can get the application form from the campus paying a fee of Rs 500. The admission is purely done on the basis of the merit in the last qualifying exam. Once selected the document verification is carried out followed by the payment of the fees....Read More
