Remarks

Bangalore University is a prestigious institution in the state of Karnataka. It is UGC certified central university. I was recommended this college by one of my friend. I am very thankful to my friend as well as proud to be a part of this university. It provides students a great learning experience and gives you the opportunity to boost yourself.

This course curriculum aims at providing a broad variety of skills such as management and entrepreneurship skills and all these skills help a student develop a high profile. The main aim of this course is to familiarize a student with facet of commerce.

Placement Experience

4

Our college has a dedicated placement cell, which provides good job opportunities for students in various fields. It ensures that the students get placed in high end companies with good initial salary package. I our batch many students got placed in multinational companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a central universities, the fee structure is reasonably cheap, I paid approx 8 K a year as my fees, these fees include exam fees, tuition fees etc. The fees paid are worth as it provides very good education with the best faculty. The fee is very feasible.

Campus Life

4

The college offers several extracurricular activities. The college has a huge playground, badminton courts, for sports where students can play sports effectively. The Bengaluru central university also regularly organizes many events to give the students an opportunity to have a personal growth. Other facilities provided are library, playground, spacious classrooms, workshops, seminars.

Hostel Facilities

I was in the hostel. Since Bengaluru central university is a very old college, the rooms at the hostel are quite old. But still the infrastructure and facilities provided are really good. 24*7 electricity and water supply is assured. There is no ragging in hostel. In final year we get single accommodation.

Admission

For all the postgraduate programs provided by the University and for the allocation of 50 percent seats for the PG courses offered in the associated colleges in compliance with the University Regulations available on the BCU website, an eligibility assessment exam is carried out at the BCU campus. Students may apply for more than one course. Entrance exam fee which is INR 400 for general/OBC and INR 200 for SC/ ST/transgender should be paid online. If applying for more than one course an addition of 100rs should be paid for each course applied for. The application form has to be filled online and downloaded. The downloaded form along with all required document need to be either submitted to university in person or by post. Based on the Mark?s scored in the entrance, merit list is created and students are called for counselling and admission.

In BCU, there is a range of teachers from different age groups creating the perfect blend between a classical and innovative teaching environment. Professors are experienced and highly knowledgeable. Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
