Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum was made under the guidelines of the government and often went through many reforms to make everything updated. Exams were hectic mainly the written exams due to our lengthy syllabus. But as I studied very hard I got good marks

Placement Experience

4.5

As I chose this college the main reason was that there were no worries of Placement or internships. My seniors got final Placement in the same hospital they worked as interns. Same case scenario was with my batchmates. As i wanted to do MD I didn't took any hospital

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for the MBBS Degree was quite expensive. My total fees for 5.6 years was 21 lacs 32 thousands and 500 rupees which was way too much been a government college. As I opted hostel I paid extra charge for room rent and food.

Campus Life

Every month we had a medical camp organised in our college campus where we treated poor and needy people. Even during our holidays college organised many sports events for the hostellers. College surely provided us with best faculties and amenities

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel form were needed to be submitted at the time of the admission with Hostel admission charge and one time security deposit. Rooms were accompanied by 3 girls. What I liked the most about my college hostel was that they provided attached washrooms with the rooms

Admission

As I belonged to SC category, I had some relieved in the admission process because of the reservation. I got good rank in NEET and I had admission here. This college was the best college for doing medical in whole Uttrakhand.

Faculty

4.5

During our first year when I studied all the domains of the Medical, I got in touch with majority of the department teachers. They all were very supportive for our goals and career. Even when college gave us our speciality, other department teachers always asked about our performance and told us to do good

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

Likes

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.

GDMC Dehradun

Other colleges I applied for- AFMC, PUNE All AIIMS specially DELHI AND RISHIKESH MAMC, DELHI VMMC, DELHI these are few top medical colleges of our country to get into due to their faculty, college environment, hospital setting, hostels, etc. I didn't get into any of the above because of my grades- I score 600 in Neet 2022 and I could only get into state colleges, so only choice left was to choose any college from uttrakhand and I thereby chose GDMC, dehradun. You need to qualify neet, ug and enroll for state councelling (Students having Uttrakhand state domicile or have done their 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand) or all India councelling (for students not having domicile or have not done 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand). More marks are needed for All India councelling to get into GDMC. Based on your rank in the merit list you will get admission. Cutoffs are increasing every year by 10 to 20 marks 2024- 648 was the cutoff by 2nd round, in 2022- 600 was the cutoff by 2nd round....Read More
