Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very diverse and focuses on aspects like accounting, management, commerce and economics. Students are taught from world famous readings to make the concept more and more easier to understand for students. The duration of the course is 2 years ad it is a full time course. The exams period is very stressful due to a number of submissions, internals and practical going on.

Placement Experience

The internship and placement opportunities at our college are enormous. The societies catering to such activities organize a number of events and fairs to help students find their choice of internships and jobs. Only the best of the lot are able to get recruited and others have to work hard to prove their capabilities which is one of the biggest disadvantages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very inexpensive for M.Com course from SDSUU and the students have to pay only Rs.40,000 for the whole course which is for 2 years. Apart from this, the college also provides scholarships based on merit or sports performance to students. Students belonging to poor economic strata of the society also get some relaxations in paying the fees.

Campus Life

Students from various parts of the country take admission in this college. Thus, the college has a very diversified environment and students have friends belonging to different social, cultural and geographical backgrounds. The students can be seen having a gala time in college canteens and auditoriums prepping for upcoming events and various other activities. Thus, the social life here is phenomenal.

Admission

I took admission in Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University - [SDSUU] for M.Com course. The selection process is based on marks scored in the qualifying exams. The eligibility criteria for students seeking admission in this course is to have more than an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 and have a bachelor?s degree. Thus, the admission process is extremely easy and trouble free.

Faculty

The faculty at SDSUU is known to be very knowledgeable and experienced. The professors hold Ph.D degrees or have done MBA from world?s best B-Schools and have a great deal of experience. The professors are very punctual with the classes and students have to maintain at least 75% attendance in all the subjects.

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

i liked my campus life especially the academic activities in which we were participated , commercio fista was organised by mba students where we installed our own lil shops in the campus and earned
we went for the industrial visits like mother dairy delhi, SEBI noida, KPMG and our batch got so much industrial exposue in my time
Our classes was full air conditioned and for mba students we have sepration seminar hall also we have incubation cell for the new start ups

Dislikes

strict rules for attendance, it should be 75 percent or above

i have done my graduation in 2024, in my 3rd semester placement was started that time our tpo was rajvardhan sir , i called so many companied in the campus for the placement finastra was one of then, i have cleared 3 rounds of finastra 1st was apptitude, then technical round then PI with HR in delhi office in feb 2024 i have got my offer letter and then july i have joined finastra just after my final exams got over, RIT and expecially members of placement are very proactive about their work , after 1 year in 2025 i went again in rit for the alumni meet my experience in rit was very good

I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.
