Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed keeping in mind the industrial requirements and has subjects focusing on enhancing the analytical skills and overall personality development. We are required to maintain the attendance in our classes though.

Placement Experience

We do not get provided with the summer internships, however, we can take it from our own if we want to. The placements in the undergraduate programs can be daunting as we do not see many companies coming to the college for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is one of the most affordable one can find in the city and it is more of a formality. It was around 2,100 for an entire year which is like nothing as compared to the facilities we are given here.

Campus Life

The campus has wifi that even students can connect. There are a lot of cultural societies like dramatics, singing, arts in which students involve themselves and even go out to other colleges for the competitions.

Admission

The admission is purely on the merit basis which is released at the date mentioned on the official website. The entire admission process went smooth for me. I visited the college campus to submit the fee and documents to take admission in my course.

Faculty

The faculty is supportive and helped the students get their doubts cleared in the class itself. We are given the assignments and professors take our internal assessments to check how we are keeping up with the coursework.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

Non-Teaching faculties are very bad . they don't work good.

1st year+ Registration Fees-6780 2nd , 3rd , 4th Year Fees- 3000/year Tution fees and all others fees are included in above fees. There is no scholarship from university but there is a wb state govt provided SVMCM scholarship. The Campus is fully green

About 67% of the students of Bankura district took admission in our course here. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and there was no internship criterion. However, I suggest every student to take admission in this college to learn mathematics better than other colleges of Bankura district. Infrastructure: All facilities are available in this college. The food is served, and students will surely have a healthy lifestyle here. Medical store, sports, canteen and games facilities are available on the Mahavidyalaya campus.
