Course Curriculum Overview
There is a nice balance between practical and theoretical knowledge of the course. The curriculum is set from a perspective which provides complete knowledge to the students. It includes presentations, site and industrial visits, assignments etc.
Placement Experience
The college has many great placement opportunities for the MBA students. The leading companies are linked with college and arranges high packages for the deserving candidates. The placement cell of the college works on several internships as well for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee is genuine and under the budget of all. The first year fees for MBA is Rs.5, 930 and second year fee is Rs.2, 200. For students like me who are from SC class, studying MBA course under this fee structure is unimaginable.
Campus Life
Being a student from MBA course, there is limited attention given to extra activities. However, events like regular seminars, cultural fests and tournaments are well organized for us. Such activities sharpens our minds and keeps us actively involved.
Hostel Facilities
The environment of hostel is quite refreshing and friendly. The infrastructure of the campus is decent yet enjoyable. However, hostel conditions can be improved much. Every student on the hostel is a part of a big family. I truly enjoy being on the campus.
Admission
The rules to get admission in MBA course is different for general and SC/ST/OBC students. The major thing seen while getting admission is clearance of CAT exam. I am from SC class and have marked my place in available 25 seats of the course by having more than 45% marks in graduation.
Faculty
The faculty of Sikkim University is excellent. I feel truly honored and lucky to be guided by one of its faculty. The teachers are full of in-depth knowledge about the course which builds my interest. The faculty members are kind and supportive. Till now, I haven?t faced any problem.
