Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Sanskrit is the main subject, we have 8 papers per semester, and other subjects are Mathematics, Computer, Environmental Studies and Yoga. We have two semester exams a year. The teachers are very good, so the classes don't get bored.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are fewer placements & job opportunities for a bachelor?s degree right now, but as instructors and teachers, we can try jobs and get students easily. Since this is a central government college, an internship is not possible while studying. Off-campus, many of our seniors are on high salaries, and some have government postings.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since this college is a central government college, there is a minimum fee and anyone can pay this fee. It is 900 per year, 2,000 for hostel and 1,500 for mess fare. There is also a scholarship for eligible students. This is a very viable option for any undergraduate degree compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

4.5

The college offers kabaddi, chess, volleyball, athletics and games along with Samaritan based seminars, conferences or guest lectures. We don't always study. We have many zonal and national level sports competitions. Many festivals like Holi, Diwali and Saraswati Puja are celebrated in India.

Admission

Since I was very interested in Sanskrit from my school, I took the college entrance test only for students who wanted to enter this college, I cleared it and then I gave an interview. The interview was not so complicated, I cleared it and got admission. An applicant for this college must study culture in his / her school as a subject, which is mandatory.

Faculty

5

Our instructors are excellent, they are very competent and knowledgeable, they teach us well and eliminate our doubts, where they run to the last hour and do not finish the parts in a timely manner. They keep classes active all the time and none of their classes are lazy for a moment.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.
