Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that the there is a lot of emphasis on the cultural and traditional language and the fluency in it. There is no pressure as such apart from the days when exams are scheduled.

Placement Experience

3

The placement and internship opportunities are quite limited as it's a central government college. There are still opportunities for students opting masters but not much options are available for bachelors degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of BA courses is Rs2000 in total for three years. It is quite cheap and affordable and the facilities which are provided by the college are also satisfactory. Anyone wanting to save money should consider this option.

Campus Life

4

There are various competitions held in the field of speches, debates and poetry. There are also a diverse set of cultures involved and student clubs are also formed. There is an also of peace in the college premises.

Admission

The admission to the college is based on the marks secured by the qualifying examinations. The ones who are selected will also have a round of personal interviews and then the final list of students seeking admssion comes.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is really nice and are really enthusiasm to teach the course. The teachers are very disciplined and are friendly as well. There are few exceptions but apart from that the faculty is really supportive.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
