Course Curriculum Overview

Our college offers a three year programme for MD curriculum. We have three exams and one internal assessment where we need to conduct research on our respective field and specialization. Our curriculum covered detailed study of medicine.

Placement Experience

Placement in our college is extra ordinary and each students are placed in both private and government hospitals and clinics.Internship of one year is mandatory for us to enhance our skills in our field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee i had to pay was around Rs.5,00,000- Rs.6,00,000 for my entire curriculum, including the admission fee and exam fee along with other fee as well. Our college charged very low for all of the courses it offered.

Campus Life

Various events took place in our college, the biggest fest where other colleges were welcomed to make their participation as well. Our college believes in gaining both educational and sporting opportunities thus allowing us to learn new things.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is available for both male and female, with a peaceful and lush green environment, I opted tor hostel facility during my first year i was allotted a room of three seaters and by the end of my second year i was transferred to one seater room.

Admission

I had to appear for NEET PG entrance exam in the month of January , after declaration of the result i applied online for this college with the required details. The minimum eligibility criteria is any applicants with Bachelor's degree in MBBS, B.sc.

Faculty

Faculties in our college is outstanding and deals with patience with our doubts. They are our idols in the fiels of medicine, they are marvelously diverse in their course of field.we acheive a lot from them.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

GDMC Dehradun

Other colleges I applied for- AFMC, PUNE All AIIMS specially DELHI AND RISHIKESH MAMC, DELHI VMMC, DELHI these are few top medical colleges of our country to get into due to their faculty, college environment, hospital setting, hostels, etc. I didn't get into any of the above because of my grades- I score 600 in Neet 2022 and I could only get into state colleges, so only choice left was to choose any college from uttrakhand and I thereby chose GDMC, dehradun. You need to qualify neet, ug and enroll for state councelling (Students having Uttrakhand state domicile or have done their 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand) or all India councelling (for students not having domicile or have not done 10 and 12 from Uttrakhand). More marks are needed for All India councelling to get into GDMC. Based on your rank in the merit list you will get admission. Cutoffs are increasing every year by 10 to 20 marks 2024- 648 was the cutoff by 2nd round, in 2022- 600 was the cutoff by 2nd round....Read More
