Entrance Preview

It was GGSIPU common entrance exam (CET). I got 3056 rank. I opted for this college because I was impressed by the profile of college faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good. Major part of curriculum can be categories in child psychology and teaching techniques. Every theory paper has two parts one is internal that is assignments and field work and second is external which consists theory exam of 75 marks to pass. Total course curriculum is divided in a marks of 2400. In this 900 marks is distributed to pure practical tasks.

Internships Opportunities

I don't have any experience regarding this because I am the student of second semester yet. No stipend is offered to me neither to my other classmates.

Placement Experience

In present seniors there is no opportunity provided by the college in this concern. In future there may be the provisions of such can be introduced for us.

College Events

Firstly we celebrated the independence day 15 August 2015. This celebration was really good. The next occasion we celebrated was 2nd October 2015 the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. This celebration was also very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite high of this course but we students have to bear it in any circumstances of life because we people have no other choice. Annually we have to pay approximately 75,000 rupees and since this is two years course so I will end up paying approximately 1.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge there is not any such kind of opportunities given to us by college.I think college should start loan facility for students like me who cannot afford that high fees.

Alumni/Alumna

The course in which I am enrolled is of one year earlier but from this year it is of two year so . We didn't have any contact numbers of seniors but as shared by our teachers seniors were very intelligent.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted in a semester system. Exam structure is really very good. It consists of 75 marks of theory part as external and 25 marks such as assignments and field work. In this only field work is really very hectic but rest is really chilled out.

Faculty

Faculties are highly qualified. Some has doctorate degree and others pursuing it. All are qualifying the basic eligibility criterion that is National Eligibility Test.

Student to campus connectivity

Likes

I like there campus and all faculty members. We are also join join there more than 8 year ago. There all staff is very helpful and and do the needful help of students. They teach us very easy language and hep us.
We want this type university in all the states.
Water and toilet facility are so good and fine

Dislikes

Labs are not good of these college and campus.
Labs classes not present here and no conduct it's all time.
We want to fastest and easy communication skills here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their exam and syllabus are very easy and low-level for any type of student. But all type of study is required in all placement. But the time period of the exam is less than to compare the syllabus and exam pattern. The faculty has been great here in our college, they are qualified and very cooperative.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is the university which conducts entrance exam for St.Lawrence College of Higher Education.It allows an only online mode for application form submission.First of all, visit the official website of GGSIPU. One has to submit the application form and registration ID and password will generate.Then we have to Pay the application fee of Rs. 1200 before the last date.After submitting the application form and application fee, the admit card will be issued.Counselling will be held and the seat will be allotted on the basis of marks/rank secured by the students in IPU CET.

Location of this college is good

Admission:

For the admission process, students have to appear in the entrance examination known as IPU CET. I successfully cleared this entrance examination and hence got admission to pursue B.Ed course. I also secured 60% of marks in graduation.

Remarks:

Overall college provide only academic qualifications, no scope for extra curricular activities. The students who are good in extra curricular activities, always come ahead, there is no scope for other students.

The college is well built and has a decent location in the national capital of India. The college is affiliated to the GGSIPU and thus provides a degree of value. The college is however the topmost in terms of academics and placement, it can be a good choice.

The college is good in terms of infrastructure and and facilities however lacks a bit in terms of campus life. The campus is small and does not provide much fun activities for he students. The location of the college is however a plus point and students can have a lot of fun outside the campus.

Remarks:

Talking about its negative remakrs so the area in which my college is located is not at all safe and moreover unhealthy too. And infrastructure is also not appropriate and the duration of college is 9 to 4 which is very long. As aftr college hours it seems dt whole my day has gone in college only and one more thing that they didn't give holidays as they don't follow IPU calender

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
