Entrance Preview

MCA entrance exam. It was renowned institution and it was dream of every studnet to get admitted to HPU.

Course Curriculum Overview

That was quite informative. We have learnt a lot of things from the curriculum whcib is indeed helping a lot in our program and professional life after college.

Internships Opportunities

Cellebrum gave 2.4 lakhs per annum. I got selected for internship at parwano location of the company and that was not too far from my place. The team I was in was very helpful.

Placement Experience

Spice digital gave students package of 2.4 lpaInfosys Technologies gave students package of 3.1 lpa. Wipro technologies gave student pakage of 2.8 lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

12000 per annum and it was not that expensive and the university was approchable for even poor student. Students from all over India came to study at this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

State Bank of India provided facility of study loan for students of weaker section of the society. All other banks were also very eager in providing the loan facility for the students .

Exam Structure

Exams were tough and happens to occur two times in the year. The time for preparation was not that much and the answers were usually lengthy. The exam hall was full of all facilities .

Faculty was upto the mark. They were Experienced enough to teach and make us all understand evey topic of our curriculum. We learnt a lot from all of them.

Likes

The good thing about my University it's the infrastructure and the nature it belongs to.
Faculty and the staff who support the students at every stage
The ratio of boys and girls is almost equal.

Dislikes

I won't dislike it, but if you want to get something good, then it costs a little amount, so there is a little problem in travelling from your hometown to reach the university.

Placement Experience:

For B.Tech courses it starts with the 6th semester and for MCA it starts with the 3rd semester The enterprise's process and the approach of the university to bring the best tech company at the campus and the heart of the faculty support the students is commendable.

Likes

Affordable fees compared to most colleges across India offering same variety of courses.
Location of the University in the arms of snowcapped Dhauladhar ranges. Beautiful scenery around the campus.
Good and relevant syllabus structure upto industry standards.

Dislikes

faculty experience varied from great to awful.
Lack of placement opportunities as the university is extremely research oriented.
Lack of cultural fests and course related workshops or events(hackathons, coding camps etc)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am BCA grad and so pursuing MCA was a natural choice. Mca is considered academically equivalent to B.tech so if you qant to sit for various companies with B.tech preference, this might be a good choice. The curriculum is relevant for real-world jobs as no SWE can survive without algo and development skills. Teaching methods can be vastly improved. The lack of will to have an engaging lecture and a love of a successful but stagnant life which the faculty has achieved(my assumption) needs to be changed. The frequency and timing of exams is at par with standards.

Likes

I like the campus of my university very much.
Time management very good in my university .
The way of teaching is very good and simple.

Dislikes

Use of abusive and local language is very popular.
Students wonder here and there without attending classes.
The courses syllabus are not as per latest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the use of computer in every field is very wide so I choose this course for most apportunity. The way of teaching is simple and easy to understand but need to improve the syllabus as latest use of language.

Likes

Campus and the behaviour of teachers is very gentle.
Companies arrive for placements of students.
Facilities for students of Library and transport.

Dislikes

Needs to improve some courses as per latest requirement.
The use of local language instead of Hindi or english.
Improvements in computer labs and classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the wide use of computer or online system in almost every field so I choose this course. The teaching methods is very good and easy to understand. The minor exams are conducted in 1:30 h and majors are 3 h.

Admission:

The admission process here is bit lengthy. First all of we need to apply online in the admission portal and then after verification of email and mobile and then again open the portal and upload the character certificate certificate and photo along with Bonafide certificate to avail scholarships.

Remarks:

postives- good labs, awosome place to live, awesome weather. few good faculty. library nof my college is hug and it is Great place to study. negative- food is not good, fights between student political partys.
