Very good college infrastructure

Overall it was a nice experience and i would recommend it to students. The best part is the weather as it is situated in hills.

I gave Jaypee entrance test (JET) to get selected in JUIT. Later on i have heard that its now taking students on the basis of AIEEE Ranks.

I took computer science stream for first yeat all subjects were common for all the strrams. Second year onwards we had computet specific subjects.

I got selected for final semester internship in Infosys. I got free hostel and food along with a stipend. At that time stipend money was just rs 1000 per month.

All the major IT companies came and recruited bulk of students. 90% students were selected in campus placements. Accenture,tcs,infosys,hcl,wipro are some major companies which came.

There were annual fests which goes on for 3 days and many more cultutal events. Every yeat there is a freshers night also in the beginning of semester.

Fee structure is on the higher end. The fee was approximately rs 50000 per semester. It is expensive than most of the engineering colleges in India.

No i dont know about this as didnt go through this process. But the fee can be paid through education loan.

Campus life is awesome in JUIT. There us just one drawback every outing was to Shimla as it was the only popular spoy near college. Faculty is good. Girls and boys are treated equally and havent come across any intolerant situation during my college time.

Hostel was very nice. Mess food was ok ok but lot of varieties were offered every week. The menu is fixed for the weekdays.

College seniors are very helpful and undetstanding. They helped us with previous years papers and books and gave full guidance and support. At the time of placement, seniors always help juniors and also with various projects and lab files.

Faculty and HOD were very nice educated and helpful. All the students were given attention. They used to be friendly and treated students very nicely.
