Remarks

Since college is comparatively new, so is the college management. but they are working hard to make college a success

Entrance Preview

I took exam of then AIEEE. I scored AIR of 49000. The College was close to my home town and looked quite promising. Moreover, I was offered the branch, I wanted to opt for. So it was a win-win situation for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was similar to what was taught in IITs. It covered everything which was required to face interviews and further technical exams which included PSU exams and graduation exams.

Internships Opportunities

There were very few companies which offered internship that too without stipend. Most of us tried on personal basis to find the internship that too for free.

Placement Experience

4

Placements were good. Many mass recruiter companies came for placement like Orange, TCS, HCL etc.I was placed in TCS and IBM from my college.

College Events

4

there were various technical events like Tithiksha and cultural events like Resurgence which were hosted by my college. Participating in such events not only helped me gain merit certificates but also groom my personality.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2007 when i joined college, it was feasible one with scholarships provided to meritorious students. But recently I have heard the fee structure has been revived and is very expensive now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship( semester tution fee exemption) is provided to meritorious students to top 5% of the students of every class on semester basis.

Campus Life

4.5

There were lot of technical and cultural festivals held in our college which included sports, technical and dramatics.Labs were also well equipped.Campus was happening and beautiful.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am not sure about the hostel facility since i used to be a day scholar and used to stay at my place.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is strong. Various pages are created on facebook to connect to alumni but since the college is not very old, It can grow to a larger extent.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was similar to what happens in IIT. With a semester of 6 months, we had 2 minors and 1 major exam to decide our results plus internal assessments that used to happen frequently

Faculty

3

Faculty was outstanding particularly for my branch. Most of them were pursuing their PHD's from reputed universities. Apart from academics, they encouraged us to prepare for interviews and next level examinations.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

The positive of this college is that the environment is academic friendly and there is a level of strictness maintained by the college authorities. Lack of modern infrastructure and absence of various general and academic facilities hampers the ideal college life of balancing the knowledge and enjoying the college time.
