Course Curriculum Overview

The course is overall good. There are several branches offered by our college for B.tech students. Students can do their engineering in mechanical, computer science, electronics, civil etc. There are two semester exam conducted in months of May and december. This course includes so many industrial visits for students. Course structure is good by taking consideration of b.tech subject are very related to the course which one study. Overall course structure is good but sometimes some exam leave us at hectic day.

Placement Experience

42% of total batch get placed in many recuriting companies. Companies like ACC limited, accenture, bharat forge, blue star, cognizant, ashok leyland visit our campus for selection. Quality control, research and development and production manager are the top roles offered to the students of this course. Rest students only get a degree certificate and no placements. Most of them start their own business or something else.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is little expensive here. The fess for b.tech non accredited course is INR 2.20 lakh per year and for accredited course the fees is INR 240000. Hostel fees is 1.00 lakh for men's and INR 90000 is for ladies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of scholarships offered by university to students. Each and every scholarship has its own eligibility. The best scholarship according to me is Hostel loan scholarship. This scholarship is eligible for students of both UG and PG, SC, SCA,ST students in college hostel those parental income is below than 2 lakhs. This scholarship can give students the financial bump as well as boost the moral of student.

Campus Life

There are lots of extracurricular activities offered by college to entertain students or to improve their personality. The literary club of our university is a hallmark of the university's promotion of holistic individual development. There are many activities like debate, writing, literature, poetry and more are offered by college. There are many other clubs which also organizes several inter and intra college events.

Admission

B.tech is a 4 years long undergraduate level degree program. It is a technical and famous course. I did this course over other courses because the career opportunities after B.tech are high in technical fields and managerial fields. I got admission in this course through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counselling guidelines based on my marks in class 12th final examination.

Teachers in our college are very helpul, qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers were doctorate, and most of them are alumni of this college. Faculty members are well trained and experienced.Many faculty members have a lot of experience. Their teaching quality is very good.

The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
