Course Curriculum Overview

The course was quite in terms of recent trends and lasted for 3 years with 6 semesters. The college was recognised by the Bharathiar University and UGC. They followed the CBCS set by the university. The first two semesters we learned the basics, before moving on.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college was amazing. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Vee Technologies, HCL, AEE.BEE and Wipro are few of the employers that came in for the campus recruitment. The promised stipend was quite adequate as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee range was from 1000 rupees to 2000 rupees for the aided batch. My course cost me 1478 rupees. The deserving students also have scholarships and fee concessions set up by the college as well as the government.

Campus Life

The college has multiple clubs you can join and the NSS and youth red cross you can volunteer in. I was part of the red cross, which was quite an experience for me as i like to volunteer a lot. The red cross have their rules, if you adhere to it the experience can be rewarding.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was an amazing experience and i made life-long friends in there. With an admission rate of 100 rupees per year, the hostel was quite clean and hygienic as well as had an amazing warden who made it feel like home.

Admission

Vellalar was an obvious choice for me as it provided good opportunities and was in good location. I went to college after receiving my 12th marks, which was 69 percent, and submitted an application and got admission soon after.

Faculty

The faculty and teachers are all very supportive and qualified. They are driven for their need to impart knowledge and help us with whatever we need help with. Dr.V.Renugadevi, the HOD was strict but accomodating to the students needs.

Likes

The course provides useful knowledge and good communication
I like the combination of business management concepts
The curriculum helps improve communication analytical thinking

Dislikes

Some subject a heavy syllabus which makes it difficult
I feel that some topics include more practical session and real world examples
More opportunities for industrial explorare and workshop hands on training

Student become eligible for campus placement from the final year the college invites companies from different sectors for recruitment and requirement student get opportunity and various rules based on their skills and qualifications

Likes

I liked the supportive faculty, friendly campus environment, good infrastructure, and opportunities to participate in college activities. The teaching was helpful and the staff were approachable.
The college can provide more practical training, industry exposure, internships, and placement opportunities. More career guidance and skill-development programs would also be helpful for students.
Overall, my college experience has been positive. Faculty members are supportive and the campus provides a good learning environment. More student interaction and career-focused activities would make the experience better.

I feel that the college could improve the placement support and provide more internship and industry exposure opportunities. More practical learning, career guidance, and skill development activities would be helpful for students.
Some campus facilities can be improved, especially the availability of learning resources and student amenities. More modern facilities would make the college experience better.
There could be more opportunities for students to interact with companies and gain practical experience. More workshops, industry programs, and career-oriented activities would be useful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers useful BBA subjects and provides a good foundation for future careers. More practical sessions, industry exposure and updated topics would make the course more relevant. Exams are manageable.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

My college feedback in positive and negatives

I can only applies vellalar college for women only no application to another colleges. I can hear about the college nice and good teaching. Reason: I am from the middle class family and have one younger sister pursiving 11th in the private school. So, In my college fees structure are low and affordable fees. In my college 12th marks basely take the seats can be allocated. Cutoffs also asked by the 12th mark.no enterance exams are no in the college....Read More

The course is very useful for future. I find this by my parents suggestion. There is no application fees.
