Nothing specific. I would say IIT Bombay offers you an ocean full of opportunities. It is important to use each of them carefully. Time management is critical to gain most of the things.

IIT JEE, I am not sure about the score. My rank was 943 and I chose IIT b as it is known for balance between academics and extracurricular activities.

It was customized to industrial needs and student preferences. The curriculum is a balance of theory and applications, providing wider opportunities in both research and industry.

Students are required to identify the companies and organizations of their choice of interest. Placement cells also help to bring internship opportunities. I did my internship in sarkeys energy center, Oklahoma, USA. I learned about using CFD technology in resolving complex jet flows optimization.

In 2007, it was mostly financed and consulting with 100 percent placement with avg package of Rs. 7 lacs per annum. Mckinsey, BCG, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, ITC, Asian paints, BNP Paribas, Lehman, google were top recruiters. Roughly 5 percent were overseas placement with avg package of 120k USD per annum.

Techfest is a big and global technology event usually organized in the last week of January. In 2007 techfest went international and invited participants from global unions. mood indigo is the grand colorful cultural festival of IIT Bombay. Other festivals include performing art festivals and socials and cell events.

Typically rs 50, 000 per semester. It is not expensive given the infrastructure provided to learn. There are many scholarships available for students as well. Interest-free loan facilities are also available to the students.

There are many scholarships based on merit basis. Students are also provided with term loans with a grace zero-interest period. There are subsidies to avail hostel amenities. There is some mcm and privately sponsor funds like the Aditya Birla scholarship for bright sparks in the college.

The gender ratio is biased towards males. Culture is diversified in terms of religion, region. Labs are equipped with the latest technologies. There are workshops in various fields like robotics, gaming, etc. Sports have given special priority.

Hostels have all basic amenities like filter cold water, tv room, lounge, canteen, tt room, laundry, carton room, football ground, volleyball, library, pa systems, etc

Alumni are connected to various channels such as annual meets, alumni website, and charter associations. Entrepreneurship is gaining a strong foothold due to this networking platform.

Semester system, exams twice in a sem known as midsems and endsems. Manageable. Few faculties replace midsems with mini projects and quizzes.

The faculty is experienced and usually have research publications. Industry consultation and patents bring the latest information to the students. Faculty have a good interaction with international universities.
