Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well designed and structured. The duration is of 4 years with 2 semesters every year. We also have frequent labs every week. Apart from that, assignments, class tests and semester exams make the schedule tight.

Placement Experience

3.5

The first batch is yet to be placed as the mining engineering was recently introduced. The placement and training cell do provide internship and training opportunities to students. I am preparing for GATE to apply for PSUs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first semester fees is around 19K Rs. and rest all semester has pretty similar. This fees include tuition fees, admission fees, and all other miscellaneous fees. Comparing to other engineering colleges, it is quite nominal.

Campus Life

The student culture is pretty good and diverse here. We play a lot of sports and also have our annual sports week. We also host a lot of events and cultural fests. Seniors host and manage all such events. We also celebrate all the festivals with great enthusiasm.

Admission

The college offers two branches of engineering- mining, and metallurgy. I was quite interested in mining engineering so I chose to apply. One need to have minimum 45% in 12th PCM and should appear for WBJEE. Based on these two above, selection process takes place.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite decent and highly qualified. They are knowledgable with years of experience in teaching. They are quite friendly and ready to help. We also have seminars and guest speakers to guide us in our careers.

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.
