Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well structured. There is a lot of focus on research and most of the time is spent in the lab performing experiments and learning through them. Exams are held at the end of the semester and projects and assignments are given to the students.

Indira Gandhi University is in new University and hence there are no placements that can be mentioned. There is a placement cell that help students to get placement after college in good companies easily.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my course is about 32000 for a period of one year which makes it approximately 1.2 lacs for course of 4 years. We have to pay a separately for hostel and food from the mess.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships for students in the general category but the state of a lot of scholarships to SC and ST category candidates. They can get almost the complete fee waived. I am from general category so I could never get any scholarship.

Campus Life

There are a lot of sports enthusiast in the college and therefore various competitions and tournaments. There are various clubs and associations. I am the part of the science club and literacy club. There are seminars as well.

Admission

The admission for bachelors in pharmacy is through the entrance test held by the University. The first step of the admission process to fill in the application form. Then clearing the written exam and getting marks required.

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.

Experience at IGU Rewari in MCA Course

I applied in Delhi University, MDU Rohtak, Kurukshetra University and IGU rewari. I got confirmed admission in MDU, KUK and IGU. I prefer IGU because its location was more suitable for me and it was meeting all my requirements. I rejected MDU and KUK due to thier location and placements. In my university, admission is on entrance basis but sometimes if there are less number of application forms, then it is on merit basis. The eligibility for MCA course is Bachelors in any stream with compulsory Mathematics in all semesters. The overall admission process was easy and smooth. My dream college for MCA was Delhi university but unfortunately, I didn't admission there....Read More
