Course Curriculum Overview

I was doing BA in economics which was of three years and had semistar system, 6 Semistars in total. And as I was doing my degree course in economics. So It was a core subject and history and political science were complimentary subjects.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements of my college was good we didn't had just a career & placements cell which helped us get a proper job but we also had opportunities for trainings in competive exams if we want to give any. The career counseling was to help us do good in campus interviews. They had collaboration with State Government and other private agencies to provide placements. I am currently doing my post graduate instead of job so I chose to not be a part of on campus placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for ba in economics was very feasable and worth it. The course was total of three years in which I paid just Rs. 2000/- every Semistar. It was very economical and quality education. We were given expousure to everything we should have about the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

At my time college provided with various scholarships to the students who were capable and needy enough to get it. Students who were toppers or the students who were economically weak got scholarships from the college. Various other scholar schemes were available that was by the govt. As it was affiliated to Kerala university.

Campus Life

We were divided in 4 houses for the purpose of extracurricular activities. Games and sports were played at grand level here. Competitions were held in the college campus between the houses in a very Friendly manner. Awards were also given to students for outstanding performance and to encourage us.

Admission

I did BA (Economics) from here. And I got admission on the basis of my merit in the academic year (10+2). The basic eligibility criteria for admission was to be qualified in 10+2 from a recognised board. And the selection was on the baisis of my merit in 10+2 in which I scored 75%

Faculty

4

The faculty of my department use to teach us with great enthusiasm and passion. They were well experienced and knew everything about the syllabus with comprehensive knowledge. They helped us a lot to score better in our last year of graduation by helping us clear our doubts on calls whenever we needed out of college.

From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Gst Global, etc. are visited for placements. These companies provide placement for all the branches of the college. 90 percent of the students get placements. I prefer to go for higher studies after getting the degree.
